Great location. Very helpful friendly staff. No problem with very late check in. We upgraded to the terrace room to get some outside space but the terrace is half covered with foliage and so many flying insects that invaded the room. The room was also so small that you could only get into bed by accessing it from the end. Saying all that we had a great time.

I‘ve stayed at Steel House for six weeks and it was such a fun stay! The hostel is very big which seems strange and a bit hotel-like at first, but it was still possible in some ways to get to know new people and have a fun time in Copenhagen I would recommend this place, it’s located close to the city center and has an amazing view with the lake right next to it outside which is very nice!

Very nice and friendly hotel stuff! Unfortunately you have to pay extra for Gym, you have to pay extra for the pool....

A large hotel-like hostel that has many amenities (most at additional cost). Great, central location. The private double room was tiny but the bed and sheets were very comfortable. Good sized bathroom but the shower drain filter was clogged causing it to drain slowly and eventually flood. This was a common problem in many rooms so the filter must be removed and cleaned regularly! The bathroom light also operates by sensor so it would keep turning off while showering. They offer convenient storage lockers to store your luggage if you arrive early or depart late. Very busy/loud as many like to socialize in common areas at night.
