This hotel is a gem in Rome...though it is of an older building, it is beautiful and calming. The front desk gentleman who checked us in the evening of May 21st was very helpful and went over and above for us to confirm our pick-up for the airport the next day. The dining room was beautiful and the food was delicious with very attentive servers. They packed us a box breakfast as our departure was very early in the morning. We wished we could have stayed there more than one night!

Missed opportunity

The hotel was just okay. As it is very old everything is very loud including just flushing the toilet. The staff at the reception were kind and helpful. The one thing that stands out as a huge missed opportunity is the lovely courtyard area that is largely ignored by staff. The bartender walked past us as we were walking out to the patio and went around the side to smoke a cigarette. My husband went to the bar and sat for about 10 mins waiting for someone to take our order. Finally got drinks and were never checked on again. There were multiple others that came in as well and were never acknowledged, even tho the bartender came out with our drinks that we had gone inside to order and never spoke to them. It’s a shame that customer service doesn't seem to be important here. With a little effort this could be a wonderful place to stay.

Such a beautiful and comfortable hotel! Great breakfast buffet with lots of choices... we had dinner there and was awesome! Small bedroom and bath but very comfortable for a renovated old building... Such charm and close to downtown Rome.

Currently staying at the Rose Garden Palace hotel and it is fantastic! Fabulous place to stay while exploring Rome. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated, great size bathrooms and we also have a walk-in wardrobe in our room. The hotel is very clean and the rooms have very high quality beds, bedding and towels. The hotel also benefits from a great location, very safe…away from the crowds but close enough to walk to most places. Staff are impeccably professional and friendly. I would recommend this place with hesitation. Little touches like free pastries in the morning and a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom are appreciated.

This was booked from a tour it was very nice location walkable to the major sites across the street from there American embassy. I enjoy this place easy to get to from the airport. Breakfast was overwhelming they had a larger variety of foods. Because it was a tour there was a welcome dinner in the hotel, they were all prepared for us and everything we served hot neat and clean. Stayed here for two nights and then we traveled to Bologna by the bus. If you get a chance this is a nice place to stay.
