Very laidback hotel and service. Don't tend to calls and take time to solve issues. For example: They have food after very long time and then by mistake room service called me( could understand from tone) to ask if they should clear the plate I said yes, but no one came the entire night. Major problem is power cuts. Hot water also takes time to come

Nice hotel meant for both business and leisure travellers

The hotel is newly constructed, with well appointed rooms. Good location with easy access to business hubs, tourist spots and the airport. Rooms are fairly spacious, I stayed at an Executive Room, which I found was very much at par with any leading property across India. Lovely scenic view from the large French window! In-house restaurant is fairly good, with wide menu options, delectable preparations and sumptuous proportions. Staff is friendly and supportive. Minor drawbacks/shortcomings: - although rooms are fitted with a variety of lights, but conspicuous with the absence of a night lamp! - fittings are new, in contemporary styling, but may need closer inspection on regular basis. Despite looking 'new', I observed a couple of fixtures have become loose! - breakfast buffet may well do with a bit more variety/range, especially in breads

Poor maintenance and housekeeping

- Despite multiple morning reminders, the hotel failed to provide hot water. This issue had also occurred the previous evening and was resolved only after three reminders. - Upon entering the room, we noticed the absence of cups and saucers next to the hot water kettle. To our surprise, the water glasses were placed in the bathroom. We had to remind the housekeeping staff to bring both the cups, saucers, and tea bags. - Furthermore, there were noticeable bubbles in the cement wall inside the room. - On the positive side, the food quality was good. - However, it's important to note that housekeeping and maintenance were subpar. - Parking was inconvenient, as we were asked to park our car in the 2nd basement without a lift. This meant carrying our luggage to the 1st basement, then a lift to the first floor , and thereafter move to a distant second lift to reach the reception on the 5th floor.

Horrible experience

“My stay at Hotel Raj Meridian was marred by a series of deeply disappointing incidents. Upon arrival, the reception staff failed to issue a room, citing a lack of the hotel voucher from Agoda, leading to an extensive 1.5-hour wait. Eventually, the staff claimed to have found the voucher in another hotel’s email, adding unnecessary frustration to an already taxing check-in process. Furthermore, despite my booking clearly stating breakfast was included, the hotel staff refused to honor this, leaving me without the promised meal. To exacerbate matters, during check-out, the reception staff initially claimed an exorbitant food bill of 1150/-, which was disputed as my actual consumption was much lower. Despite requesting the bill, it was denied, only for the staff to call later, alleging an incorrect bill of 650/-. This back-and-forth continued, with the final amount settled at 365/-, which I promptly paid online. Overall, my experience at this hotel was deeply unsatisfactory. The level of service, particularly from the reception staff, was abysmal, marked by incompetence and miscommunication. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I would caution others against choosing Hotel Raj Meridian for their stay in Dibrugarh. Not recommend to anyone stay here. Improvement in staff training and customer service protocols is imperative to prevent similar incidents from recurring in the future.”

We stayed for one night 31st March 2023. The room was spacious and clean. The very large bathroom was lacking amenities and the towels were grayish. There were no face towels and there was no hot water in the evening. It took some time to organize the staff to solve the problem. At checkout they will only accept Indian credit cards and do not accept USD. Luckilty we had just enoud Rupee otherwise there would have been a very tense situation. on the good side the meals weer excellent and well priced along with the drinks. Overall not a pleasant experience
