I had a superior room with stunning views of the opposite building’s bedrooms and washing. Request for a better room was met with an indifferent spiel of “we have a full house” without even looking up. So, a warning, lower floor room numbers ending in 01 is in direct view of a car park and higher floors faces a bedroom and their washing. The bed was comfy and there was a pillow menu. There were 2 bathrobes, and the bath towels were soft and lovely. Found it difficult to use the toiletries pump packs as the snozzle was hindered by the neck support. Nevertheless, it was better than small plastic bottles. It is conveniently located next to Hindmarsh Sq and minutes to Rundle Mall. The east side of Rundle Mall has boutique shops, small bars and lots of interesting restaurants. The airport bus stop is located on Grenfell St, directly from the road entrance to the hotel. If you don’t have much luggage, it is worth taking the bus as it weaves through the suburbs. You can use your credit card to tap on. There are 4 coffee pods with a coffee machine. Lovely selection of teas. Liked the bin with 2 compartments, for rubbish and for recycling. Loved the free on demand movies. It had a range of really old movies and a few newer ones. I found it irritating when the room keycard was removed from its slot, the lights went off immediately. You had to stumble in the dark to open the doors. Reverse is the same when you enter. It gets worse at night because your windows are in direct view of another building, the curtains are kept closed and the room is in total darkness. You need to perform the maneuver of holding the door with your feet and stretching to put the key card. I found the service to be below par. Communication and hospitality training seems to be an issue. For example, many of the breakfast tables were set for the next diner but had crumbs left on the tables. My colleague had order 2 coffees (one for me). When it was served, both coffees were offered to him. One of the baristas (not the young Asian lady) was very rude and assumed I had not given my room number. Request for a one-hour late checkout was not followed up (reception said someone will call me back, but no one did). Prior to staying there. I had made some enquires (with promises to call me back but no one responded). There were other issues which I am choosing not to share. Generally, most of the staff were standoffish and the only person who was friendly was the concierge. Breakfast was quite standard, with the offerings of hot foods, fruits, cereals, cheeses, and juice. It also offered a Chinese style congee. If you are offering Chinese congee, you must provide the condiments that goes with it. There was no soy sauce, sesame oil, shallots, salted vegetables or peanuts. It's like offering white bread, with no butter or jams to go with it. Would I stay there again? I think there are better choices and service elsewhere.

This is a lovely hotel with all you’d expect by way of comfort and amenities. However it’s the staff that made this such a memorable stay. Every single interaction was pleasant and customer service focused from the young ladies that delivered room service to the restaurant and bar staff to reception. What a great team they have here! Also one of the few bathrooms with a shower that’s positioned correctly so you don’t end up with water all over the floor! Well done.

Brilliant property. Very well maintained for its age! The staff were polite and courteous. Speak with Helen at the desk, she will be glad to assist. The indoor pool was one of the best things one could ask for when travelling with a toddler who loves the water. Well maintained, clean and always had pool amenities stocked! The buffet breakfast at Parc was well thought of and had a generous and wholesome offering. From the cold to the hot, everything was good. We got there around 8:45 which traditionally is a busy period but the buffet was always stocked. The juices were great and probably the only area they need to focus on as we were tipping glass juice containers over to get to that last drop. The DIY pancake station is tucked in a corner and does attract a fair few, we didn’t need any pancakes but we reckon the machine could be setup in a more open space. Rohan was genuinely delightful, speak with him if you have any requests at the restaurant. Only negative, we found another guests credit card in the slot where you insert the room key card for the lights. Definitely an oversight but could cause unnecessary trouble in the wrong hands.

The hotel itself is very good but this is trumped by its location. Just short walks to Rundle St for dining and Rundle Mall for shopping. The room was comfortable and clean. The bar fridge was empty, no complimentary water was provided. Dental and shaving kits are available on request at Reception. Conveniently, there is a small laundry on-site; AUD$4 per wash, and also AUD$4 per dry. Take the opportunity to use the pool, spa, sauna and steam room; they are all located indoor in the same space.

Ambience Ambience at Pullman Adelaide is modern and elegant, with touches of luxury. The eclectic furnishings in muted and bright shades are warmly illuminated, while decorative lights and vases lend a classy touch. There's good views over the city, and the nearby park boasts fairy lights in the trees, lending a surreal yet pleasing aesthetic. Room Rooms at Pullman Adelaide are cozy and comfortable. I stayed at the Junior Suite, which is equipped with a smart television with satellite channels, and MP3 player docking station with radio, and a queen size bed. The wardrobe is small, but the large bathroom has both a shower and bath tub, with decent amenities stocked. The place is relatively clean, though I had to change 1 of my towels due to it being unclean (with an unpleasant odour). Food Food at Pullman Adelaide is served at the Salt Restaurant. Ambience is comfortable and suitable for lingering meals, though the place is noisy and buzzing at breakfast. Service is friendly but leisurely, with staff according guests good attention. Cleaning up is done slowly, and there isn't a proper queue system which can have disorderly results. Food is Modern Australian cuisine, made with fresh ingredients. Quality is slightly above average, served in large hearty portions. Service Service at Pullman Adelaide is polite, professional, and helpful. Staff welcome guests warmly, and process checking in or out quickly, with good briefing of the available facilities. They readily offer assistance, such as calling a taxi, or holding luggage in temporary storage. Beyond the reception and restaurant, there's minimal interaction elsewhere, though if you do come across housekeeping, they're polite and work efficiently. Facilities & Activities The facilities and activities at Pullman Adelaide are catered towards business or leisure travel, but less so for children. The spacious and well-equipped meeting rooms make this a popular conference and business meeting venue. The lobby lounge and executive lounge are comfortable. The gymnasium has decent equipment, while the swimming pool is basic but functional. While they don't offer laundry service, the easy-to-use self-service laundromat makes up for it. Overall, I would recommend Pullman Adelaide hotel if you're planning to visit the city and its surroundings.
