I'm a travel professional who stays in a lot of hotels and this was a disappointing experience. I arrived early afternoon - I was certainly not expecting instant access to the room, but I also didn't want to wander the streets after a long flight, and when I asked if there was restaurant or somewhere I could sit for a while, I was told quite curtly that there was not. I asked to use the bathroom and as I did, I saw that there was, in fact, a small library. The woman on reception generally acted as if my arrival was a huge hassle for her, even though I was the only person around. I understand everyone has a bad day but if your job is literally to be hospitable, then take the day off because I don't want to feel like a burden when I've paid quite a lot of money to be a guest. My other main complaint is the insane design decision in the room to put the fire alarm right over the bed. When it's dark, the two red lights blink every ten seconds and light up the entire room - why not put the alarm in the small corridor near the door where it's a) going to be way more effective and b) not acting like a sleep deprivation device? Very hard to get to sleep if you're sensitive to light - eye masks in the room would be very useful. The ceilings are quite high, so you can't even cover the blinking lights up. Just a crazy place to put it. A couple of other points: The internet connection kicks you off all the time, so you constantly have to log in, so if you're planning to work here, it's quite annoying. Finally, the safe in the room was not functional. Other than that, two stars for the general decor/cleanliness/appearance and the decent breakfast buffet. But reception staff with bad attitudes for no reason and the bizarre alarm placement really took the shine off - both easily fixable with training and simply moving the alarms.

Very good location, 5 minutes walking from EL CLOT station (train and metro). However, at the same time, it's a quiet location, since it's not quite a main street. Near restaurants and supermarkets. Very complete breakfast. Simple and clean rooms. Small roof on top.

Great location , lovely staff. Room was clean and had all bases covered . Air con weak and room too hot at night ( February) and smoke detector lights flashed intrusively all night . But those are minor points. Breakfast was fun and filling . Coffee machine a nice touch. We’d come again

Leonardo Sagrada Familia hotel is excellent value for money. It's conveniently located near a metro station, about 100 metres away, only two stops from Sagrada familia and five stops from the city centre. The rooms are basic, but modern and clean, with big and comfortable beds. The breakfast is very good and covers all tastes. The staff is very polite, always willing to help you. I would visit the hotel again with great pleasure!

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in January. My Wife, my daughter and me. The hotel is in super good location very calm and in a walking distance from bus and underground stations. The receptionist are all very decent and very helpful showing all the possible solutions for a perfect stay. Thanks so much
