We stayed in Hotel Mainak for a night in January 2023. Room was okay but there is scope for improvement in housekeeping and toilet cleanliness. The hotel refills the used mineral water bottles and offers those for drinking purpose in rooms. This is not a healthy practice and should be stopped as plastic mineral water bottles are not meant for multi. use. The best thing about this hotel was their food. They have an awesome variety of food which the kids loved (especially Maggi in breakfast). I would like to especially call out Vijay who served the food with lot of manners and love. He made us feel as if we were in a 5 star hotel. Lovely person. Needs to be rewarded by management for making the guests happy with his behavior. Lastly, airport drop included in room fare was also helpful.

Budget Hotel... No Lift... Not very clean..... Good food..... Food is little costly.... Hotel is little inside and you need a cab to reach the Main place...... Near to Airport, 10 mins... Near to all the main Tourist places..... Book directly and dont go Through Thomas cook, SOTC or other Tour operators..... Wifi will not work...... No Internet connectivity.... We had a good time and Enjoyed the food..... Andaman is a Great place to visit !! Enjoy !!

Hotel is very good for family stay. Good AC rooms with attached bathrooms and they provide additional mattresses if required. It is located some distances from market and airport but from top floor you can view sea sunrise and sunset. It has restaurant facility also where you can enjoy your taste of food on your choice and also they charge very economical.

Nice budget hotel with nice food but away from the central place and not easy to walk through the main Bazar once you return to hotel. Rooms are good and front staff courteous and helpful. Complimentary breakfast is reasonably good.

We visited this place in November, 2018. We were give accommodation at this hotel. Rooms were reasonably good, A/c., with 24 hours hot water. Staff & service was also good. The hotel has bar & restaurant on the ground floor. Food was also standard. The only disadvantage from a tourist point of view, is the hotel is not located near market AND one will always need a vehicle to visit, even a nearby place.
