We stayed for 13 nights at the Green World Hotel Nangang in November 2023. We had 2 young kids (6 and 4) with us and we booked a deluxe room with extra bed. There were 3 beds in the room (2 larger twin, 1 twin) and a couch that could be used as a small sofa bed for a young child. The room wasn't huge but it was enough for us to store our 3 suitcases and extra stuff we bought during the 2 weeks there. The bathroom is spacious, very modern, has a bath tub and a shower area (which has a rainfall shower system with good water pressure). The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from a newly opened Family Mart, next door to it is a Mos Burger. It's about a 6 minute walk to Exit #2 of the Nangang MRT station on the blue line. It's also within a 10 minute walk to the Nangang City Link and Global Mall shopping centers. The food options there were great and we were able to try many restaurants while we were there. We chose the location because we have relatives nearby and we almost always end up taking the MRT Blue line when we are in Taipei. It was very convenient for our family to be within walking distance to the station and the shopping centers. We had free breakfast for the stay and we were pretty happy with the options. I enjoy the daily soup of the day, lots of Asian veggies, and my kids liked the variety of Taiwanese buns and fruits. The staff who worked at the restaurant are so nice and welcoming, our kids loved saying hi to them and greeting them every morning. We appreciated everything they did! The front desk staff were all very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The cleaning/service crew did a great job too. Overall it was a wonderful stay and my kids enjoyed their time in Taipei.

This modern hotel is located in Nangang, about six kilometers from the center of Taipei, but just two blocks away from the nearest subway station. For a weary jet-lagged traveler, it offered just the right amount of peace and comfort. For example, the mattress was relaxing and the sound insulation was perfect. My room had a large deep bathtub, which added to the comfort level. The service desk is polite and professional. But the breakfast is plainly below par. It has some Chinese options, but international travellers will have to do without yoghurts and fresh fruits (watermelon excepted). The croissants and bread are mediocre, and the coffee is the nail in the coffin.

房間不乾淨且陰暗潮濕，人員訓練不足很差勁👎。早餐很差，食物都有不明物加料。最後只能餓肚子去外面找食物吃！人員很雜沒有戴口罩取餐！一切都是非常糟糕的體驗！別花冤枉錢了damp damp damp dark and the staff is not well trained. Don't waste your money!!!! Don't waste your money!!! Rooms are nice and clean ......... however the balconies of my two neighbours ended up in front of my window. So one could see inside the room just the other side of the glass. The hotel is basically a building with a small hall at the entrance. Breakfast is the poorest I have ever seen in my life. I asked for extention of my check out from 12.00 to 14.00 (only 2 hours with hotel empty!) answer no problem you have to pay xxx. I asked for a room not facing the road: answer no problem you have to pay xxx. I prefer hotels with a friendly attitude.

Excellent location to stay outside of Central Taipei - away from the noisy hustle and bustle crowd. Large room with large bed and large bath tub. Nice view of the forest behind it. Wide variety of food establishments at the nearby within walking distance Nangang Station Global Mall. Also nearby - the Nangang Exhibition Centre, Carrefour Hypermarket and international fast food franchised restaurants like Mcdonald, KFC etc. One should try the street food - literally from roadside cafes where local people eat. Delicious and cheap.
