Despite reserving a king suite (ie, paying more for what we hoped would be a nice room) we were put in a suite with a worse-than-no view (enclosed on four sides brick space just above giant HVAC unit, providing all-night humming noise). No window at all in the living room. The suite was dark dark dark (not surprising given absence of natural light) even when we had all the (completely inadequate) in-room lights turned on. Strangely, the bathroom was at the entry and at the farthest possible point away from the sleeping area, which was inconvenient to navigate, especially during the night. We asked for a room change s d we’re told that that could only happen if we accepted a downgrade to a smaller room.

Nice hotel within walking distance to many attractions and several restaurants around. We took in Navy Pier, a river cruise, and Hancock Tower look out, and took the hop on hop off bus around too. The breakfast was good. The hot items changed each day. The staff were wonderful. The rooms were nice and spacious and had a nice sitting area. We did not hear any street noise or noise from the hallway or other rooms.

I was down on a business trip from New York and this hotel was in a very convenient location to our offices. Checkin was very smooth and lovely. I believe the person name was Yasmin. She was great and very helpful during my stay. Javier and Fennie? they were wonderful as well. Will stay here again on my next trip.

This was our first visit to Chicago. We stayed for 5 nights. * Location - The location was great. It is in a good area, not far from tourist places, close to train stops * Room - The room was clean and nice. * Breakfast - We liked that while some foods were the same every day, they changed up the hot foods each day. Javier and Fannie who worked in the breakfast room were friendly and attentive. Good breakfast for a hotel. * firestation noise - Some people have mentioned the noise of the sirens. You can hear when the sirens of the trucks are leaving. It is not too bad and you get used to it quickly. It is not constant. I would recommend it for a couple or a family stay.

Good location, close to many attractions, front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room I got had a very bad view but other than that was comfortable. The bed and pillows were great, we slept like we never do! Breakfast included is very limited in options but its OK. I would like it if they did not use paper plates and plastic cutlery as this is a lot of waste and it makes it look cheap, on the plus side....Fanny and Javier, the staff in charge of breakfast service are awesome. So warm and friendly Sometimes understaffed and they got slammed but they made every morning a fun way to start our day.
