Overall experience of my 4 nights stay in the hotel is great. Location is convenient as walking distance to Central Mall, Platinum Mall, Big C. Hotel room is clean, even though the bed may have some piling edge. Only 1 charging point near the bed, 1 for kettle, 1 for hair dryer. Breakfast spead is decent, many choices as well. I didn't use the hotel massage, but there is one massage center at level 1 which offers reasonable pricing and friendly staffs.

The hotel is clean and is a great stay overall. Service is great and the staff accommodating. They allowed for early check in FOC given my flight times which was super helpful and must be commended. The hotel is also located in a great area with a quick walk to Platinum and the Pratunam markets. Big C and Central world also a quick walk away. Breakfast Buffet was also very good, with multiple varieties of cuisine ( Chinese, Thai, Western, Indian) available. The property is highly recommended !

All the hotel Staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall hotel lobby, cafe and rooms Environment are clean. The location is very convenience to travel around all the tourist attractions. Downstairs already has a small shopping mall and 7-11 are quite near to it.

4th stay at Centara Watergate Pavilion since 2015 and I still love staying at this hotel. I was in Bangkok for a 6days trip to celebrate my partner's and my belated anniversary recently. Although it has been so many years since my last trip and stay with Centara in 2020 just before the pandemic lock down, I was a little worried about the condition of hotel and the service standards. I recommended this hotel to my partner and he agreed. Upon arrival (on foot), and while we were still 15-20 steps away from the entrance, bell men approached us and helped us with our luggages immediately. Welcoming us, he directed us to level 9. Staff at front desk saw us walking over and greeted us. After we handed over our passports, they told us to take a seat at the lobby, and we were served welcome drinks while C/I was being arranged. C/I was done swiftly and we just enjoyed the drink and Aircon in the lobby a little before heading to our room. The moment we entered the room, our luggages were already sitting there. We were welcomed by a small anniversary gesture from the hotel. Before we arrived, I emailed the hotel mentioning that we were celebrating our anniversary and made a few room requests (cannot guarantee), but they managed to fulfil all requests during this stay. The hotel sends out a Survey on the 1st night. I didn't thought much of it and just filled in the survey after the day ended. We were trying to get some help for a room issue late at night but to little avail. I mentioned it in the survey and there were immediate rectifications made the very next day. While out in Bangkok on day 2, I received an email from the hotel apologising and mentioned that they would rectify the issue immediately, and by the time we returned to the room, the issue was settled. Talk about efficiency! On the 2nd day, my partner mentioned that he finally understood how this hotel managed to buy my heart and even he was starting to be impressed. Upon C/O at 10am, there were 2 staff tending to us. 1 assisted with the C/O process, the other offered assistance with our luggages and checked if we needed to store them. We didn't need to bring our luggages down to level 1 storage on our own, they reassured us that we could just collect them later when we return for departure. By the end of our trip, my partner was impressed by all the hotel staff. It's the staff that made our stay memorable and awesome! We will be back soon, and we hope to see Centara Watergate grow to be even better! Additional pros: -Bed was comfy -Aircon is great -Water pressure of the shower is just right -Staff is ever ready to greet and assist guests -Minimal moulding issues in shower stall (please keep it up) Areas for improvement: -There were very obvious wear and tears in the room wooden flooring near the toilet (it's of no danger) -Fridge in room was very old but still usable -Some moulding issue at the sink around the tap -Room was a little dark during the evenings -There was no Aircon in the level 1 lift area and in the lift (also no more music in the lift) Perhaps if hotel is trying to be in-line with going greener, the external venues can still have Aircon but turned off by a certain timing. Location (walking duration): -Chit Lom BTS: 15mins -Siam Square/BTS: 20-25mins -Ratchaprarop Airport Rail: 5mins -Palladium Night Market: 3mins -Pratunam Market: 5-8mins -Platinum Fashion Mall: 6-8mins -Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri and The Market Bangkok: 8-10mins -At least 2 7-11 stores within 3mins of the hotel

We only stayed for a night in Bangkok (coming from a long holiday in Chiang Mai), occupying a twin-sharing and a triple-sharing. Reception was at 9/F as the lower floors were occupied by a shopping mall and officers. Front desk services were fast but at our departure, we were told the THB2,000 deposit would be returned after 2 weeks (which was strange considering they had already checked you out). The rooms were big and very clean, with the bathroom airy. The triple sharing room had brown water but was eventually resolved. Staff was very friendly and helpful. While the Starbucks station was a welcome change and so was the breakfast buffet, the lack of a pool was somewhat of a bummer. But, the food and shopping and sights of Bangkok made up for it. :-)
