We like everything about this hotel. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom modern, the concierge helpful and the location quiet but convenient. The tasty breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices and there was a breakfast meny as well. Excellent place to stay in Glasgow.

After a long 4-hour drive, we arrived at Kimpton Blythswood hotel at night. It does not have a carpark situated within the hotel hence we just temporarily parked our car outside the hotel to take our luggage out first and a hotel staff spotted us and quickly helped us. As we had initially requested for a parking spot in our reservation, the staff helped us to park our car in their private parking area nearby (we have no idea where it is) as it is a valet service. Everyday when we needed our car, they would then drive it back to the hotel for us. Check-in service was friendly, quick and great. While our room was on the ground level (which we weren't too thrilled about privacy) but we were glad there wasn't much noise and the double doors to enter the room area made us feel a little more comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room as it was spacious, modern, luxurious and very new. I loved the decor and the amenities. The bed was comfortable, the wardrobe had sufficient storage space, the coffee table and chairs were useful and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious (love double sinks) and had a tub and shower area. The heated towel racks were a plus during those rainy days and the shower pressure was great. In the evening, there was also complimentary wine provided at the lobby level (although it wasn't a private area) but great to lounge at. The doorman was extremely friendly and we loved conversing with him as well. Overall, we had an unexpected beautiful stay with impeccable service in a luxurious room. We would definitely stay here again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay- the service was warm and exceptional, the food in the restaurant was very good, the bed was so comfortable, and the facilities were wonderful. The staff really goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

Nothing was too much trouble for this hotel. Firstly, though, the property is stunning. The design of the hotel is really luxurious, yet intimate enough that you always feel taken care of. I was greeted cheerfully and warmly welcomed. Rooms are modern and well laid out, with plenty of space to relax and work. Food is top notch here, well presented, and piping hot and the service team truly work as a team. You can see they love the job. Exercise room is small but very functional and the spa area, if you get a chance to use it, is well worth a stop in (complimentary during limited hours). I had to do a call at lunch time and the team advised me to use the Salon for privacy and the server brought my food upstairs to me when she saw that there wouldn't be enough time to enjoy it in the restaurant (it was entirely my own fault misjudging the time). This hotel has the perfect pitch of quality, service and culture.

Having now stayed numerous times here. I won't be paying the 5 Star Prices for a 4 Star Hotel again. Better luxury, details, facilities and attention at Gleneagles and Cameron House. Spa - overcrowded due to the ridiculous complementary times, everyone rushing to use the facilities at the same time (you don't get this at Gleneagles). The steam room was terrible. We got told to take our towels off the bed/ loungers so others could use - there were no pegs left to put our things ... We used the sauna and salt room before someone else left their towels for 30 minutes and no one questioned them? Dinner - forgot our sides for our mains and we're told this is taking a little longer due to our allergy..... and we waited 35 minutes between starter and main courses Breakfast - very poor gluten free options for coeliac - this is NOT a 5 Star Hotel breakfast. We waited 15 minutes to order, we asked for tea - took 15 minutes, we asked for GF toast - it took a further 15 minutes. We were over an hour and a half for breakfast from walking in and this stopped us from getting to the spa (complimentary time), as a result, had to pay £75 per person to use spa facilities....wow! Room - the room was nice however, the air con didn't work and we had an awful sleep as a result. Windows don't open - so it's very claustrophobic and stuffy. There were half eaten meals, ates and glasses left in the corridor for over an hour from other room service. We were locked out our room after checkout time and had to come down and get a key. Bizarre that your automatically locked out your room, when your check out time is exceeded by 3 minutes. As members I think this is appalling. Receptionist was also quite rude and the staff in general were not vigilant enough for 5 Star!
