The worst hotel experience ever

Horrible horrible hotel. The concept is cool but room was old, carpet stained and I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and a tiny sharp metal object stuck me in the boot I’m of my foot. Furthermore, the front desk service is the worst I’ve ever seen. Linus especially was rude and inconsiderate. He wanted to charge me a $200 deposit to use an umbrella on an extremely rainy day. No concession on a late check out as well. Very bad attitude. I would never stay at this hotel in 1 million years. Avoid this like the plague.

The hotel it’s very beautiful, I live the decoration and theme of the hotel, since the arrival the fragrance in the ambiance it’s amazing and overall all the hotel it’s gorgeous. The breakfast it’s delicious, try the noodles and the Taiwanese omelette. The service of the waiters it’s excellent, they are very kind and attentive. You have a very good hostess named Sylvia, she is super kind and attentive, she is a gem in your team. Also Sandra at the reception was very attentive and helpful with the information requested. I live this hotel and for sure I will stay here again.

WORST HOTEL STAY. Air conditioning system sits right atop your bed so its cold air in your face all night. Same-day delivery for laundry came two days late! Items missing. Service is awful! BEWARE

We had an early flight into Taipei arriving 5am and made it to hotel around 7am. We had dropped our luggages there and asked if they can try to get us a room as soon as possible before we left to go around town. We came back to hotel around 1pm and they said check in time is 4pm. Check out time is 12pm. Here's the thing, I get it and travel ALOT. Most of the time I'm checking in later in the day but this was a red eye flight and traveling with 2 kids. Many of hotels would try and get a room ready earlier to accommodate, even a little earlier goes a long way for guests that traveled from afar. They knew we were there since 7am and they literally didn't even try to see if there was a room available or at least try to get one ready earlier. Poor customer service and highly recommend other hotels as there are so many other good ones to choose from. We finally went up to the counter at 3:30pm and asked again. Our room was ready and key was sitting on the table for who knows how long! There were hotel guests all over lobby and restaurants waiting to get their rooms as well. As for the condition, hotel smells and the room carpet had uneven areas due to age causing trip hazard areas.

Wonderful beautiful boutique hotel in central Taipei

An excellent modern boutique hotel a short distance away from the Taipei arena MRT. The arrival lobby is beautiful and check in very easy. The reception were very helpful in helping us find nearby food and answering all our questions. The rooms had excellent amenities, tree style decor and were always clean. We also loved the fancy toilets and the overall room temperature as the city was quite cold. Our room was also larger than expected and housekeeping were great. Would certainly recommend and return again.
