This was an interesting hotel, different from others that's for sure. It felt like a hostel with the sink and shower room opposite the bed, I booked the hotel via booking.com, so this was not really mentioned! I'm aware they want to be unique, but it was just not for me. Although this is my own opinion, I'm sure others love it which is great. The good: - Bed was great, sqeeky a little. - Minibar was free (we only had 2 drinks in 2 days). - Had a great 6th floor view of the train station and the city. Had a drink sitting on the bench overlooking the city at night was great. - Big window and very quiet even with the train station was opposite the hotel. - Mini supermarket near by for any needs. The bad: - Hostel feel room, split sink, toilet and shower. - Shower with see through glass opposite the bed (not even 2 feet away) and can see someone taking a shower! - Floor had cracks when waking into the shower. - Ceiling looks incomplete. Overall, a nice stay next to the station with easy access and a comfortable bed, however, it was just not for me. - No tea and no kettle in the room.

I am sitting on the floor of my room right now. It is 3am. The room overlooks the switching yard for Zurich HB with a single window that opens just wide enough to hear all of the noise on the street (and at 3am on a Monday morning, there is plenty) but not wide enough to let enough air into the room to cool it down from a relatively mild 25C (77F) day. The breaking point for me was when my wife called down for a couple of extra pillows and a fan, and we waited for an hour with no response, then had dinner at Neni (the restaurant in the lobby), and then went to the front desk to ask about our request, only to be told that there were no more fans (with an air that it was foolish for us to have asked). Cute as the lobby is, this hotel is terrible. I have gone through the trouble to rebook the rest of my rather short 3-day trip in another hotel that has AC. There are also a lot of prostitutes and drug dealers in the immediate neighborhood. Not the fault of the hotel, but it is definitely part of the neighborhood. Just do a quick google search on Zurich Langstrasse Red Light District. The 25 hours comes up on the first page of results.

Staff were unhelpful except the lady that checked us in, don’t expect house keeping, will only replace new shower towels upon request too. Even need to request them to clear the rubbish in the room. Towels they provide were torn and looks like rags. Left my HDMI cable with Apple adaptor when I checked out, emailed them to lookout for it as I was returning to stay again in few days time, recvd email asking us to check with front desk upon checking in Again. Upon checking in, they claim didn’t see my cables. Which I expected as they were so unhelpful, will never use this hotel again.

We booked this Hotel for 2 Nights from the 21st to 23rd April through the Accor App and WOW we're we impressed. After walking from Zurich HB Train Station to Hotel (about 850 metres) in a bit of a snow blizzard we we entered this hotel and my God it is so cool and funky. We were greeted by a lovely lady in reception who checked us in and answered all our questions and was so lovely. Went up to our room on the 7th Floor and what a magnificently presented room which was also so functional ( also included free mini bar) Beds so so comfortable, great shower, sensor light in toilet , great for that middle of night excursion. We ventured downstairs after organising ourselves for a pre dinner drink and the bar like the rest of the hotel just exudes coolness. But one of our highlights was dinner in their Restaurant Neni, we had the pleasure of having Babou as our waitress and what an absolutely beautiful person, with the food which was nothing short of spectacular (especially Desert) and her service and helpfulness it turned into a special memorable evening, so thank you. So my conclusion would be if your visiting Zurich and you want to stay somewhere fun, cool, funky as well as super comfortable then this is the place for you.

Best address in Zurich; super convenient near HB, pleasant staff, and all facilities in good shape. Breakfast is still very good and puts a smile on your face for the day. Small shop at ground floor used to have more ‘unusual’ stuff and these days looks little neglected.
