The staff at Lha ri sa were exceptional. Their choice of breakfast and dinner is very widespread and tasty. I stayed in 2 types of room and one was a tree house. Both the rooms were very comfortable. The tree house experience was very good. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were big and the water was hot which was very much needed in April. The manager and the owner were very courteous and made sure our stay and day excursions were well planned and comfortable.

I visited Leh for a marathon, starting from check in to the resort till check out every staff was very helpful. Mr Norbo was very instrumental, he arranged everything and suggested the best, sorted out all the queries. The resort food was amazing like home food. The resort environment itself was like a home with tree houses and a kitchen garden. The overall experience was amazing.

Lha-Ri-Sa, for me will be a home away from home. This is more of an emotional note for me than review, so bare with me. WHAT A STUNNING PROPERTY- and by stunning, I don’t just mean the property but the people too. It has my whole heart and more. It is located, about 5 mins away from the Leh airport, 10 mins away from the Leh main market, and close to every essential commodity store you could need. The property in itself is unique, stunning, and a whole experience in itself- you will feel like you are in Leh. It’s not one of those modern hotels you just go sleep in, this place will make you want to spend time at the property itself. We had a initial booking of 2 days- extended to a total of 8 days of booking, out of which 2 were in a tree house and the rest in their standard room. The tree house was truly a tree house. But with all the facilities you could need inside- a self use heater, a lavish washroom with all the essentials and amenities, 24/7 running hot water, the beds, the ambience, the interiors, so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The same applies to the standard room as well, but oh my god- if I’d have such standard rooms in every hotel, I’d skip living in my own house. The room was spacious but cozy, with all the amenities, an amazing washroom, a huge balcony face poplar trees. I could go on and on bout how amazing the whole place is. Lastly, the best part bout this hotel- the owner and the staff. For the 8 days that we stayed there- they have treated us nothing less than family. The owner himself, the manager (Mr.Norbu), the cleaning staff, the kitchen staff, everyone was beyond exceptional. My parents got really sick while being there, and everyone went out of their way to help us out with the food, the medication and everything. Even when we needed to travel, they helped us out thoroughly. The owner himself was so humble and kind, he personally would check up on us if we were okay. It was a delight to talk to him each day. They truly became a family for all those days. I’d keep going back, over and over again, as long as I can just for this hotel. Lastly, the food was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was a chefs kiss. And there is no “no”in this hotel- whatever you ask for, it’s a yes. The chef himself would come talk to you and make sure you are good, which was very very sweet. And the waiting staff too were very very nice and sweet. Ladhak is usually tried to sell out as an adventure destination and it is, no doubt. But it is also magical and this place was a safe haven and home and please go there and have a staycation, you will not regret a single penny. Breathtakingly beautiful, it looked amazing the treehouse was very neat and clean, it was someone's birthday and they even did the decorations for us, the staff is wonderful and very friendly the place is beautiful, the food was nice , they offered someone to help us go to the market nearby

Stayed here for 4 nights in late-April. This place is owned and run by Mr. Norbu a localite along with his small team of fewer than 10 individuals. On the one hand you get all the amenities you expect from a standard Hotel. On the other hand you get a homely touch of hospitality where every staff member knows every guest and greets you like a family member. Conversations continuing in installments over multiple meals are testimony that the smiles are real and not plastic. Doing this while running a place as big as this is very hard. No wonder you find Norbu at work by 7AM. From the time we landed in Leh to the time we reached the airport, they were available for anything and everything. From making special dishes for our daughter to running to the room when we had a medical scare, they did it all.
