Sub-standard hotel. Customer service is lacking for a 4 star hotel. We were not helped with our luggages on arrival. The check out time of 11.00am is ridiculously early. The breakfast is very poor; no fresh juices, no yogurt, very limited in quantity quality and variety. You only have the usual bread and eggs with a sorry vegetarian option. They couldn't confirm that their chicken sausages were halal. Our worst experience was the freezing cold water in the bathroom. The bedroom also lacked a bedside table on one side. The only thing this hotel has going for it is its excellent location just above Lavender MRT Station on the direct East West Line from Changi Airport and easy proximity to the downtown locations. We won't choose this hotel in the future. Avoid it.

The hotel is right above an MRT station, so you can reach any part of Singapore without stepping out in the sun. Just outside the hotel there are a lot of eateries (including local as well as options like McDonalds, subway etc) so that too should be taken care of. The rooms are clean, but pretty cramped. Especially the shower area is too claustrophobic and there is just one point where you can stand. Little India area is just a 12-15 minutes walk.

V Lavender was our choice of stay as it is situated close to Little India which hosts Indian restaurants. It's a luxury property with a relatively smaller room size. They can improve upon food variety for Indian guests. The check in and check out process was smooth. The pool facility is not to be missed. Staff are courteous and helpful

I stay in hotel around 3 times for business trip and also for vacation, this hotel has convenient location, closest to MRT and bus station in Lavender, so it's easy to commute to other places. the room is quite small, however it's clean and comfortable for me, the staff was warm and friendly. there are lot of restaurants around the hotel and it's not difficult to find halal food around the hotel.

I stayed at V Hotel Lavender for 5 days with my family. Pros: -Daily room cleaning service. They replenish all items in the room every day and replace bath towels -Hotel location is very convenient. Just a few steps to the train and bus stations. Cons: -Rooms are a bit small and can get cramped with luggage -Hotel lobby can get pretty noisy and chaotic with the volume of guests. Hotel staff doesn't really help with crowd control. -Front desk staff named Ismah was very rude and unprofessional. From the moment we stepped up in front of her for check-in up to when she handed our room keycard, she was making annoyed faces at us, rolling her eyes, speaking rudely to us and was just plain disrespectful. Clearly not good customer service. She shouldn't be a front desk staff with that attitude.
