Best Property, cordial staff. But food quality is very poor. Restaurant offer veg food but that is not as good as other property of Udaan Hotels. At 7:30 pm if you asked for snacks , room service and restaurant team says they are busy for buffet preparation.

Hi good evening. We have stayed 2 days in Dekeling Udaan hotel,it was a great relxing time for us,hotel is nice,all staff is very much cooperative and loving,we feel so delighted after seeing all smiling staff.hotel ambience is very nice .enjoyed hospitality.thanks to Udaan group. Mysef dr Kumud Mehta from Amdavad and spicially thanks to Ms Lila Tham for giving us wanderful service

First visit to Darjeeling and we have stayed at udaan dekeling resort Resort was covered by flowers and staff are very helpful and cooperative special front office team Mr. Lakpa and others who help us from checked in till checked out rooms was unique and thanks to Mr amar for helping us to oprate tv.

Had a very wonderful, relaxing and amazing experience with Udan hotel and staff. Rooms are great, large ,air and clean with good accomodation area. Large balcony with sitting area. Staffs are very good and provide the service with humble & smiling face. Great view from hotel.Enjoyed the natures beauty from hotel. Foods are very delicious with lots of options. We have booked our 4 nights stay in Darjeeling with Udaan Dakeling Resort. I am writing this review while already staying here. I had booked 2 nights in a British suite and 2 nights in a luxury mountain view room with a balcony. Also to mention here that we are travelling with our three months old baby. The experience of the British room is horrible. 1. The main room is not having any window so complete darkness during the day as well. It feels like a prison cell. 2. The maintenance of the room is pathetic. It has many broken infrastructural amenities. I have attached a few photos. 3. The bathroom is pathetic. It feels like of a cheap hotel room with a lack of basic facilities. It also has plenty of insects. 4. MOST IMPORTANT: We stayed in the S4 room. The architecture of the British room especially of the ground floor rooms is pathetic. As the ceilings are made of wood we can here everything from the room upstairs... people walking and talking!!! We are unable to sleep since last two days and have failed to make our baby sleep due to the same reason. I don't understand why the hell they have converted this room into the hotel room when it's impossible for anyone to stay here! We have repeatedly told the reception managers to please either stop this noise coming from above or change the room but they were not having any answers. 5. The location of the resort is very awkward. Though it's near the mall road but the steep road disables anyone to go there via walking and forces them to book a cab. All and all, highly not recommended. Some good points are: courteous staff, some open space outdoors and good food. Thank you Udaan Dakeling for ruining our baby's first vacation 🙏
