We enjoyed the traditional set menu with Luis as our culinary guide. With each course he took the time to explain the dish and its origin. Every course introduced us to traditional Cantonese dining. Wonderful food! Wonderful experience!!

Overall, awesome hotel, and I had nothing but great memories. All staff members were very professional, especially Jisu and Jessica. They took care of us. I would definitely go back to this hotel when I have a chance to visit Singapore in the future

We stayed here only for one night on a stop-over. I cannot praise the hotel and its staff highly enough. We were in a larger deluxe (whatever that means in a 5* hotel) guest room, with a massive two sinks marble bathroom. Everything was in impeccable shape, even though this is clearly an older property. Basically, this is an old-world vibe property; for instance, you control most of the light fixtures, curtains, etc from a panel of brass buttons in a wooden panel next to the bed. Definitely preferable to IPads gimmickry if you ask me. There's a coffee maker as well as ample tea varieties. The King size bed was super comfortable. I slept just wonderfully. I didn't check out the gym, but the pool is perfectly sized if you enjoy lap swimming. There's endless artwork in the public areas of the hotel that's well worth taking some time out to view, if you care about that sort of thing. Their butler service contacted me well in advance of my stay to inquire about any needs that we might have. I asked for something (nothing outlandish, let me assure you), and they kindly obliged me. Very impressed. I stayed at other St Regis properties in the past (hey Toronto), and it's really day and night between those properties. I absolutely loved my brief stay in Singapore. I picked the breakfast as a Bonvoy status bonus, which was probably the best choice I could have made (seeing that there's no lounge in this property). I didn't check what the price tag on the breakfast would have been, but let's just say that it was spectacular. Truly nothing you can think of was missing here (even caviar, if I'm not mistaken). Highly recommended.

Reputable hotel but service has fallen

Had our wedding here at the Caroline mansion. St Regis has been one of our favourite hotels in Singapore as we’ve stayed there multiple times before, but unfortunately this time the service was a little subpar, and the drop in standard shows. Some examples: 1) Butler service took 50 mins to move our stuff from one room to another, which really adds to anxiety during wedding day. I had to run and get it myself (for ref, it used to only 10-15 mins) 2) banquet in charge was a bit unsteady, I had to repeat to him multiple times on the order of our march in. 3) bride butler was helpful not quite well trained, and caused my bride to almost fall a few times 4) front desk team didn’t align with banquet team on the charges so we had to have a dispute upon check out (I was charged $1200 extra) 5) at breakfast, the croissant was stale. I really expected better, but alas the standard has really fallen. I want to be understanding and say that it’s because of the Shangri la dialogue happening nearby, but it still remains that they were short staffed with under trained personnel. That said, 2 excellent staff stood out! Sharon from the banquet team has been exceptional, understanding, and competent. She made us feel prepared and ready during our wedding day, and we felt like we were in a safe spare of hands. Second was Kumar from the butler service team. He was exceptional in helping me get my clothes pressed in time, as well as helping me pack my odd shaped canvasses post event. If management is reading this, I hope they will reward the excellent staff and consider genuinely improving staffing levels if they still believe that St Regis has a reputation to upkeep

It was awesome experience because of their personalized services. My kids got authentic Indian food prepared only for them on their request. Almost all staffs came forward to help by doing their bit like offering umbrella, helping to download grab and so on. Thanks for making our first Singapore visit simply more memorable.
