We booked for 3 nights from Monday - Wednesday and I don’t think I’d come back tbh. Few reasons below. 1. Location - it is a little far out from the city centre. Though the boats etc are nice from the views you get looking out the window, spending €13 each way does get expensive by taxi. 2. Breakfast - HUGE LETDOWN! Hardly anything there. No veg sausages, tbh not much of anything. Even premier inn has more! Also randomly on floor 7, not near the reception restaurant/bar. 3. The room - no tea station considering your pretty far out, you’d thing that’s basics, soap in the shower was SHOCKINGLY BAD. BED AND PILLOWS - I didn’t sleep at all! Bed is springy and pillow was just as bad! My bed at home is literally what I craved, I ended up with bad back! They have two single beds put together to make a double which I can live with but it would be better if it was actually comfortable. Lighting in the room is like a dungeon lol! Complaining but the room was spacious so I guess that helped. 4. No Noise from the corridor was a good thing! You can’t hear much at all! 5. Staff do not seem to happy to work there. They just seem miserable. I would not go back to this hotel, it’s a nice looking hotel but it’s really just based on that, nothing else.

We booked a 3 night stay at the Niu Fender, our first time staying at this hotel. The reception area was well presented, the staff were very friendly and helpful. As we arrived in the early morning and couldn’t check in till 3pm it was no problem to leave bags with them so we could go in to Amsterdam and explore (same on day of departure too) When we did check in our room was very spacious, with lots of wardrobe and desk space, and the room was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and due to the hotel location the room was quiet to ensure a good night sleep. It had a lovely spacious bathroom too with toiletries provided. The location was a little further than we were expecting to the nearest bus stop just something bear in mind for the less mobile. Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel and would definitely stay again.

It's a nice hotel, rooms are bigger even the windows, big washroom as well. They give good service, there's a provision to play your music from your mobile on room speakers. Challenge is that you have to walk at least 1 km to buy groceries or eat at a restaurant. Hotel though offers some food options

Good location away from the busy city centre and on an easy bus route ( 22 ) good size rooms in a modern hotel. Reasonable prices for drinks and snacks. Great reception team throughout our stay. We were 7 single ladies booked into a double room each and everything was just right.

The hotel itself is nice, reception staff are rude and unhelpful. One lady seemed to be working on her own constantly, she served drinks, took orders, served food and cleared plates, she was lovely! We’d choose somewhere else next time we visit Amsterdam
