Very expensive for a tired hotel. Although the location was good, the hotel looks like it hadn’t been invested in for some time.

The hotel was in a good area, close to North End and we walked to Quincy market. Great staff (thanks Rose!) and restaurant.
Comfortable and intimate hotel w/ lovely rooms, reasonably priced. Has some service issues.

Very comfortable and intimate hotel. The rooms, beds, bathrooms and food were all good. The price is competitive. Some missing features: -It was hard to call the front desk and get someone to pick up the phone. -Service in the restaurant is slow. -Our room wasn't made up in the morning. -No drinking glasses in the bathroom. -There is no bathroom on the ground floor, where the restaurant is. You have to walk down into the basement to get to one. There must be an architectural reason for this, but it would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Having said all that, it's a comfortable hotel and the food is good. I would be happy to go back.

Amenity bill deduction without use and without informing me. The room was small and dark. The air conditioning was also not working well.
The hotel was lovely, but unfortunately the lift was broken throughout our stay

Unfortunately the lift was broken during our day and we would’ve had to use the stairs to carry four heavy suitcases up to the ninth floor. The receptionist was very helpful with moving us to the fifth floor, but this was a bit of inconvenience as the left had been broken for four days prior to our stay also And communication would have been nice so that we could have potentially booked an alternative hotel. I was also charged for drinks from the mini fridge that I did not consume. I queried this with reception and was told I would receive a refund to which I have not and have still been charged for the drink. I did not have
