Hi- American here! Had a terrific stay at the Bodhi Tree with my two kids last September. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, has an incredible outside space, and is about a 15-20 minute walk from downtown Leh- perfect for a quiet stay but near enough to everything you could want. Friendly and helpful staff, hotel housekeeping was excellent, the breakfast was very good, and they arranged a great driver to take us around. I really liked the bathroom and shower and my kiddos said the Wifi was great. Bodhi Tree would be my first choice for my next stay in Leh!

We stayed for one night at the property in Leh and it was excellent in all aspects, comfort, staff behavior and response to query, the Manger, chef and the food options available with taste. It was excellent experience of the property and will recommend to try once in Leh.

Room was great and breakfast and dinner menu is extensive and fulfilling. it was a bliss to stay there . staff was courteous and polite. Though view was not very good and having lunch in garden is very nice experience.

We booked this hotel because it looked nice and cancellation was free, while our plans were not finalized. We booked it six months in advance, but our plans changed less than two months before our arrival, and we canceled it more than one month in advance (deadline was a week before the stay). The thing is you have to confirm your stay by wiring half of its price, what we did. So we received a cancellation confirmation, but not our money back. We wrote several times, our broker once, and still didn’t receive any answer. As we visited Leh (our itinerary changed, but not our destination), we visited the hotel and requested one more time our money back. They agreed to do it, and finally made it two days after, but inexplicably kept a part of it (you said “free” cancellation? and we would maybe never got anything back if we didn't see them live). As we were there, we visited two rooms, they were nice, but not better than most in this category… (and far from being as nice as the hotel where we finally stayed :-)).

The hotel was really good. We stayed here for 5 days. The rooms are big and comfortable.They provide electric mattress. They also provide heater if needed but it is not required in the month of May. Overall a really good stay. Only area where they can improve is the food variety..it's very limited and highly priced. Otherwise it is definitely a recommended hotel.
