Taj hotels ,my top of the list hotel groups...until I decided to give another go at Taj Clubhouse Chennai after a break from a unpleasant last visit.True to form never to listen to sweet nothings from the last manager thoroughly disillusioned again..The front desk manned by staff careless in registration of my details onto another guest's name .welcome drinks tainted with allergens although I specifically stated and voiced my concerns and from which I had a reaction. The only stars of this apathetic show were and always will be the Chefs Jagdish and Muth uand staff at restaurant . This is the Taj...don't you have a duty to train your first line staff well. Safe, private and very efficient. Very efficient check in and check out. Very private and safe. The AC in the room is perfect. The lobby area is not crowded making it feel safe and friendly for the guests. The breakfast is a big spread with a lot of variety covering Indian and limited western food and they can customize. The rates for the hotel are very reasonable. They do upsell the lunch and dinner menus. However, the atmosphere is worth it if you want it. An oasis in the heat and crowds of Chennai.

Satisfied with room space, location of the hotel and the services that was expected from the Taj Club House. The in room dining could have been better. However the menu did not significantly vary from the main club house food. The main South Indian food could have been cheaper. Overall satisfied with the stay.

We stayed at Taj club House for 3 nights, enjoying the great hospitality that Taj Group is known for. Right from our check-in, the front desk, facilities and dining team took good care of us. Ms Pooja at front desk was very helpful and treated us with jovial nature. The property is very nice, with all required amenities, specially the rooftop pool & spa. The restaurants and food quality was also awesome, with satisfying taste and aroma. My family enjoyed staying at the property and spending some quality time together. Thank you Taj Club House team!

I stayed recently at the property for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very courteous and always ready to help. The location is unbeatable. Had a minor snag with the business center but they resolved quickly. The gym needs improvement, the machines are little outdated. A big shout out to the entire team, especially Imran who was always willing to go above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay.
