A very cozy little holiday resort which caters to about 15 guests in four AC Double Rooms and an AC Dormitory. The Resort has more than adequate parking for the guests which is a boon. The Rooms are well appointed with one side of the room facing the Floral Garden and the water front. The room was well appointed with all basic amenities and the Sleep quality was Good. The Bathroom is comfortable and Hot Water is provided through a centrally heated boiler. One requires to give 10 mts notice for the same. The garden has many colourful and fragrant flowers which adds to the ambience. It also has a raised platform in one corner of the garden which gives a beautiful all around view. The open air dining hall was spacious and the food provided was tasty and wholesome . The Resort also tries to cater to your personal catering requirements .Mr Kaustubh the owner personally supervises the meal service. The Resort also provides Boating facilities for a Backwater ride. The backwater rides are planned around Sunset and just after Sunrise. If you are looking at a comfortable, relaxing and refreshing stay in Ratnagiri, look no further and book at Sushegad.

We came across this place with a reference from a local magazine. The place is very well maintained and has 4 AC twin cottages that can accommodate 4 family members comfortably with a double bed and extra bedding. All 4 cottages have a pleasant lovely

Absolutely 5 star rating Home stay ( Location slightly away from beach but can be ignored as you can reach at Beach within 15 mins of drive).... Food is tasty.. go for typical Konkani food..!! Owners are caring & very much attentive..Place is clean..Family of 8 to 10 people ..book all the 4 rooms ..& enjoy..!!!!

A very well maintained property with peaceful environment. The rooms are clean and access to their garden is nice.The host is very friendly and kind. The backwater view is very nice. The Konkan food they serve here is very delicious.

The place is very clean and nice. It has got a beautiful backwater view . The owners arrange boating in the backwaters . Very pleasant experience . The owners are Very hospitable and friendly . The food is good homemade food . Will surely recommend .
