Stayed for 5 nights. Early check in was paid for but on arrival it was but available but the charge was immediately refunded. Check in is through the Sunotel Aston around the corner. Good location for exploring but some walks are long, e.g from the hotel to La Rambla is approx. 30 Minutes. Hotel staff are real helpful and very pleasant especially the young man who runs the roof top pool and bar. Breakfast buffet is plentiful, fresh and delicious. Hotel decor in some places is a little tired but overall very clean.

The hotel itself is nice, a rooftop pool and jacuzzi, a lovely dining area with a good breakfast, the staff are nice and attentive! However, our room wasn’t great. The aircon was weak and barely worked, only blasting cold air occasionally then turning off for hours which meant we were quite sweaty through the night. Also, our hotel room door did not close properly and could be opened from the outside WITHOUT a key. We only stayed for one night so didn’t realise that this was an issue until we left. The hotel is pretty basic and good for a cheap night or two’s stay.

This is probably the worst value hotel i have stayed in The world. My room cost 112 euros and it did not even have a window to the exterior. Is it even legal in spain? The air con didnt work and it only blew air with a terrible clunking noise all night. It was a terrible experience and i will never repeat. I went to look at the pool ( which is tiny) and the water was a milky colour. I could not go in as it looked like ith was full of sun cream or something. No one else entered the pool and just sunbathed on the roof.

Such a place !!! Arrive--and it looks closed. Then look beside the door--advice to check in at the sister hotel around the corner. Why not just tell the customer that when booking. Process to check in fine--then shown how to enter the hotel I was booked for via a set of corridors Room I had was small--and the wardrobe was broken. No safes in the room--unusual in this day and age

It's honestly not bad but for what you're getting I think it's overpriced. I paid $71/night for a single room which was clean but needs an major uograde. The TV was still square, the bedding is not hotel quality, not even a thick comforter, just a thin blanket. If you're literally just gonna use the room for sleeping then it's completely adequate but I think I would have paid the extra $30 to stay at a more modern hotel like the Mercure. The staff is amazing though! The only thing needed is an upgrade.
