Very Worst hotel we ever stayed in our lifetime. Rooms are very horrible and shabby. Locks for the room damagef. No lock for bathroom. No maintenance atoll. Moreover when my husband informed the staff about this for better maintenance they started using very very abusive language They never feel bad or interested to develop but blame us for everything they charged Rs. 700 for a non ac shabby dirty room. Actual room rent is Rs. 650 only but took Rs. 700 as advance and never returned back Rs. 50 . Staffs ate very very rude Don't ever book or stay in this room. Mythili Ramjee

I booked it to attend a marriage. Ambience is good. Price is reasonable. 350 for single bed with AC. It has hotel attached. Coffee and snacks are good. Located near bus stand. Service can be improved. Food is ok.

Pros: good location, many choices of favorite restaurants near by and 24 hrs hot water supplying, u can feel safe & service was above average, u can negotiate rental for off-peak hours Cons: but hotel buildings & rooms looks very old.

The only good thing here is that it is near to the bus stand, but, all other things score a BIG ZERO with this place We stayed here last Saturday night when we visited Kanchipuram. When we entered the reception, they asked us to wait for few mins and got the room ready We had asked for an AC room, and when we entered the room, it was like a good old lodge and we were happy that we were going to spend some time there since we hadn't stayed in an old lodge so far. We had bought some eatables from a nearby bakery and watched TV for some time and slept When I got up in the night, I was shocked to see so many ****** TINY COCKROACHES ***** all over the room floor. Not only that, they had loitered into all the eatables and we had to throw them away. I was like WHAT THE HELL are these guys doing man. I lost more than a 100 rupee worth eatables and fruits They had given a rug but not a bedsheet and I felt like sleeping under a jute bag. After the moment I saw those cockroaches, I didn't get a moment of sleep When we checked out, I blasted the room authorities for not maintaining the room properly, and they had some stupid excuses, as they always do. I wish I had a chance to sue them for their deliberate carelessness We made up our minds to never visit the place again

This is a good old hotel in Kancheepuram. The attached restaurant is run typical in old brahmin style coffee shop with limited tasty items. Who are used to brahmin food can only appreciate the taste of the food here. experience food here once.
