I had an excellent stay at SmartRental La Latina. Apartment was clean and I found all the necessary items there (towels, hairdryer, fully equipped kitchen etc.). Isabel was very helpful via WhatsApp if I had any questions. Lavapiés district is Madrid at its best in my opinion. It is a very lively and a bit bohemian area with many bars and restaurants. There is also a big supermarket open 24 hours a day close to the apartment, Lavapiés Carrefour. Next time when I travel to Madrid I will choose SmartRentals again.

Horrific experience. We were told before our trip that we could go to the apartment directly and get the keys there. We were met by nobody and when we tried to call someone to help, nobody seemed to care. We got asked to call different numbers and after many phone calls, many false promises of meeting us at the location, being hung up a few times, we finally got told to go to another office address to pick up our keys. If not that we were with luggage and kids, we probably would have gone somewhere else. One of us gotta take a taxi to go to this office, which is not even nearby, to get the keys. Whilst some of us were waiting at the front gate, our neighbors looked very understanding and clearly we were not the first to be stuck like this. The apartment was poorly managed. Rubbish was still there. It was dirty, smelled like cigarette. The bed, the so-called mattress and pillows were vry uncomfortable. Wouldnt stay there again even its for free.

Experiencia horrible, para no repetir. Apartamento, sucio, ruidoso, muy viejo, olor a humedad, ruidoso, un ecceteras de cosas malas.....para nada lo que te vender por no hablar del excesivo precio para lo que es. No vengáis nunca que os arruinara las vacaciones.

Hola, la experiencia fue para no repetir de nuevo. Llegamos al apartamento a las 19:00, después de una viaje de 12 horas y la cajetilla de las llaves estaba abierto y evidentemente sin llave. Después de casi 2 horas y 4 llamadas, que tuve que hacer yo para ir sabiendo novedades sobre el caso, no nos dieron solución y cada vez me decían una cosa distinta. transcurridas esas dos horas llegó una familia que era la que estaba alojada en nuestro apartamento. Por una falta de coordinación, gestión y desconocimiento habían alquilado el apartamento a otra familia y tuvimos que quedarnos en otro de la planta baja(suerte que estaba libre, si no nos tendríamos que haber ido a otro lado) Después de todo el caos al cual no me dieron solución. me puse en contacto con hoteles.com y ellos fueron los que me bonificaron, con un cupón con un importe insuficiente, de una forma con la que no estoy de acuerdo pero no podian hacer otra cosa y nosotros solo queríamos descansar porque salíamos a las 5 de la mañana. el piso es un zulo pequeño, ruidoso y por iluminado

Un completo desastre. Tuvimos el displacer de alquilar una habitación por 3 noches. El piso tenía el aire condicionado roto, y nosotros tuvimos que perder tiempo de viaje para recibir al técnico que no ha solucionado el problema. El staff no es nada agradable, no nos contestava con una solución y no ha sido capaz de darnos otra habitación. Al final tuvimos que cambiar de hotel y pelear por el reembolso.
