We had a very pleasant stay of 8 days at this resort! We booked the 2 bedroom villa, whcih ended up being a bigger suite connected to a smaller one, each with its own kitchen area and bathroom - the bigger suite having a living room, a whirlpool and a balcony. I highly recommend this setup if you're travelling with multiple adult family members or teenagers, as it gives everyone their own space and early risers can make their coffee without waking everyone. With the two king beds and two sofa beds, you could easily fit 8 people comfortably. All the staff members we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful, from the gardeners wishing us good morning to the smiling servers at the restaurant. We spent most of our stay without needing housekeeping, but the one time we asked through the texting system for extra coffee items we were helped within the hour. I want to highlight Anton at checkin, who was very sweet in wishing my mom a happy birthday and helping us find our way around.

Beautiful grounds, lacks some key conveniences and great customer service.

We had been here before and knew we lived this resort for the grounds. There are “lakes” with bridges, waterfalls and the landscaping is beautiful! Our room was generally clean, but when housekeeping came there seemed to be many things missed. The cupboard door in our kitchen was hanging off by one working hinge. The sink stopper didn’t fit our sink properly, which was important because we hand wash bottles. Their paperwork says that swim diapers are required in all pools and are given complimentary. When I asked the front desk about where to get them, they had no idea what I was talking about out and had to consult a manager. The manager came and told me that they had discontinued that program and just hasn’t updated their paperwork. My opinion is that if it is stated in the paperwork, it should be honored. I was told by guest services that there were no pool items to borrow. I’ve been to other resorts that provide floats, tubes, noodles, etc. for guests. The recreation center had a Wii inside, and a pool table and ping pong table outside. Again, I would have expected some other items- books, games, etc. Nothing crazy, but more than just the bare minimum. Restaurant selections were minimal. Would not extend our check out past noon, which is disappointing since we are elite Bonvoy members. It’s good for your basic stay, but I had too many small issues that piled up.

Not my favorite. Been coming to Orlando for 43 years first time here. Unable to honor a single failry simple request. Reception not very pleasant.Just one request would have been nice, like first floor instead of 3rd floor..Housekeeping never came but left their bags of clean towels and sheets at our door over night. So we.brought the bags in took care of it ourselves yet charged us $180 cleaning room fee. Disputing the charge.. and to top it off a few guests at pool pretty unpleasant. Very. Won't be staying here again. Have had far better experiences elsewhere.

Noisy and poorly managed

Requested a quiet room seven weeks in advance of arrival. The request was ignored. They gave us a room that was probably the worst of the thousands of rooms in the whole place. It was right beside international Drive. There is noise 24/7 on that road. It kept all of us awake all night I asked to change rooms and they said “come back in two hours”. Two wasted hours later, I came back only to be told no they would not be able to help me. They didn’t seem to care. The manager was hiding in a room behind the front desk and didn’t have the decency to come out.

The customer service at this facility is awful. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. It seemed as if the employees took joy in seeing a mother of a toddler suffer. This facility should not be a part of the Marriot Bonvoy group at all. I emptied my Marriot Bonvoy points on what I thought would have been an amazing quick get away as we only live 2 hours from Orlando. I called ahead and asked if our room could be made ready earlier. I stressed that if it was not possible, it was OK and that I would just leave my home at a later time. When we arrived at the Sheraton, I was told that our room was ready. I was very excited since this was an early check-in. However, when I arrived at the room, I learned that it was an ADA accessible room. This was not what I had booked nor was I disclose this. Because this was an ADA room this did not have an appropriate shower to be able to give my hyper toddler appropriate bath. I immediately called the front desk to be moved into a different room. I was told that they had no rooms available and that this would be our room and this is what we were assigned. I told them that I had not booked an ADA accessible room and this was not fair. I was then put on hold and had to go through multiple people after which I was told a room could be made ready. Please note at this point I had been on the phone for two hours. For those of you that have toddlers realize I reached to Orlando in the mid afternoon when it was my daughter’s nap time at that point she was going crazy and moving rooms would have been a nightmare. I spoke to an assistant Director named Emma Christie who told me it was her job to “educate guests on how things were done here.” I have never been spoken to as rudely by someone in customer service in my life. I then waited another hour to speak to Ashley Hendricks from guest relations. Ashley did give us a room credit which did not even equate to a one night stay. However, at least she spoke to me kindly and recognized the distress that we were in. Over the next two days of my stay I dealt with a very crappy low pressure shower that made a mess of the entire room. I had to ask for extra towels every single day due to the water. It was the most miserable day I could imagine. Do not stay at this facility. The customer service doesn’t care. When I checked out, I asked if I could fill out a complaint form, the front desk people didn’t seem to care at all, and laughed at me after I had stepped away from the desk. They did not realize I was still there. This is the worst place to stay. Do not waste your points or money at this facility. The on-site dining is basically you have to order everything through an app. It takes an hour to two hours to actually get your food. Additionally, the pool tried to rip me off and charged me for two alcoholic drinks when I had ordered a mango smoothie for my daughter. They are trying to rip you off left and right and do not care to make things right.
