Its was a good stay, like the cottages. But do remeber, to check with hotel for Location as Map shows wrong directions. This resort belongs to Ex CM , so that is the best way you can find this out. Also, the Cottage is at a Top Hill, so do check with property as they send their own car for pick up from the road. Food is worst, no room service and it takes almost 2 hours for Dinner to be served. You have no other option for Food there, as the place is situated at a hill, so coming down from the hill is another challenge.

A Marvellous Stay....

This was a stay to remember. The resort is situated in the lap of a small hill, off the main road. The road to the resort is soo steep and that we got truly scared. Thanks to the skilful drivers who made our life... easy. The property is wide spread and you will discover something new, every time you look around. It’s greenery everywhere inside. We loved the fresh air that we got to breathe and the flora and fauna that we got to see. Vegetables are grown inside the resort and what we ate was all home grown!!!!! It has a view point location inside the resort and a heaven for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. We stayed in individual cottages which were expensive but worth a stay. The cottages have separate sitting area, bedroom , balcony and a big bathroom. Thoughtfully done rooms, well furnished. The cottages are spread across the resort and during night, staying alone here is indeed an ambitious proposition. What we didn’t like about the rooms are the look-through curtains. One would feel insecured and weird as everything is visible from outside, whether day or night. Vehicle requirements were taken care by the resort. Though awe fully expensive, but available whenever needed. Otherwise, everything is just perfect. The well stocked Bar made us happy and the food menu covered almost everything one can imagine. We loved the food served to us..... and the jolly and hospitable staff cheered us all the time. We had a campfire also and danced to Nepali music. Overall a comfortable stay.

Up in the Hills. About 1.5 km thru a winding unpaved track up a hillock is the Resort. From disembarcation point you need to climb 35 steps to Reception area where Roshni will be waiting for you with a hearty smile, Welcome Scarf & a Glass of local Wine. Enjoy your drink and take deep breath to again climb 67 steps to an open Table Top field. Then walk down the field to your Dacha/Cottage inside thick green Forest. The Cottage is spacious with basic amenities. A small cute Balcony is attached. Toilet has Geyser. Warm-to-hot water is needed as temp up there is usually low with wind chill after Sun set. Power supply is mostly steady. A specious Dining Room houses a very well stocked Bar Counter. Food is excellent. Well coocked locally grown organic vegetables are served in every meal. Sumptuous. Quality is really good. Quantity is more than sufficient. Every evening they set up a small gathering with local/Hindi songs, impromptu dance by participants. They know how to live happy after a hard day's work. Your participation is always welcome. What one can't miss is omnipresent Roshni. The guiding force of the Resort. She is available every time with a sweet smile. A memorable stay at 7 Hills Resort. Wish to go back.

Up, up and away... and you still climb a bit more before your car labors to the top. The crew usher you in and off you go... way beyond what you expected until you finally land up in a cottage and the valley at your feet. This was a last minute booking and we were not sure what to expect but the two nights spent here were worth it. Beautifully done cottages with great views, amazing privacy, good people who don't give you an opportunity to complain and, most importantly, fabulous local food. There's a garden around the restaurant to walk or sun bathe in, plenty of plants, animals and plants to keep the curious you occupied and views of the valley, clouds and Kanchenzonga (if lucky, of course) to forget earth for a while.
