The restaurant and bar didn’t open until 5 pm and closed at 9 pm. I would have preferred longer opening hours. An alternative would if the reception sold alcohol and snacks/sandwisheses like some other Scandic hotels that I stayed at. That is my only criticism though.

Great licatiob, but not the greatest entrance and rather small room. Some noice from the neigbour, but I slept alright. Comfortable bed. Tiny bathroom. Excellent Scandic breakfast, nice and clever breakfast area (inner garden with a glass ceiling), which raised the rating from 3 to 4. Nice staff, smooth checkin

The location is unbeatable, just a block from the Central station with public transport access everywhere. Walk to harbour and old town in 12 mins. Super clean everywhere, bravo to housekeeping!! Good sized single room, very soft and comfortable bed, small bathroom but it does the job. However if you have a "courtyard" view beware - it's a closed courtyard where they serve breakfast from early morning, so you'd hear people moving tables & chairs, chatting and a lot of noise, not good if you're a light sleeper or want to sleep in. Also no natural light (frosted window) as my room looked directly into the courtyard and tables with people eating just outside! Very bizarre! The price is expensive for what it is but I guess you pay mainly for the location. It's a good hotel but keep your expectations in check - it's a busy, city hotel, I'd recommend for a business or weekend trip where you want to be out and about most of the times.
