We 05 familes visited,18-20jan23,It was told us that it's a luxurious property having 04 rooms,but after reaching there, we could find only 02 big rooms ,with 01 terrors small room,somehow 01 couple can sleep,small bed,and 04th room is a godown room ,somehow 01 cot kept,hardly place to move with full of mosquitos bad smells,no toilet,01 drawing room having only 01 Tv,Very dirty,many days not cleaned,caretaker &, his wife takes care of ur daily food as per ur choice,only thing u have to procure d eating items to them,free service,very old pattern dinning table ,crokeries r good,cot nd bed cushions r old nd not proper flat ,ups nd dwn,it's not a luxurious property ,very simple flat,which owner gives or rent it ,but really very costly as compare to outside other properties ,having all facilities,personally pursued to Mr.Gopal Paul sir,he assured me for renovation after Holi,but till date not done,nd I feel it won't b,it's OK for 5/6 k for 01 day rental,not more than this,it's surrounded by beautiful garden nd greenery but that's not sufficient, 01 person deployed to look after everything, cleanliness, purchase ,helping wife for food ,table service nd what not.Mr.Gopal pal sir ,pls look into d matter

We visited this place in jan 20. Thea beauty of the place touched our heart. Surrounded with so much greenery . Visited there with 3 families. We booked 3 rooms but when reached there found 2 rooms are available & in 1 room some guests are already there. Whereas we booked prior with advance. This is a very bad experience we had. Other than that the behaviour of the care takers & all the facilities were really good. I want to give this property 4 star but giving 2 star only for this non professionalism.

Strongly recommend this place to anyone who cares to visit Shantiniketan. Location wise its just perfect , the Viswa Bharati campus was a short distance away. Since there are only 3 double bedded rooms, you have to book well in advance.

We visited the home stay during 23 to 25 th November 2018.The property is having three double bedrooms with shared kitchen.The caretaker and his wife takes care of guests needs.The food was homely and very good.The rooms were neat and clean with clean toilets.I must say one drawback of the property where though there are three bedrooms but two toilets.So , I suggest travellers to book the entire bungalow from the host.Do not go through online booking options particularly booking.com since they are spreading a wrong message that rooms are having private bathroom. Overall a nice stay thanks to the host and care taker and his wife for a comfortable stay.

Location, location and location. Visa Bharati University is on walking distance. Everything was just excellent. In short We felt it as our own country house. Homely atmosphere, beautiful garden and lawn. Organic vegetable garden was a surprise. Caretaker Sushanta Bhowmick and Rakhi,the cook were great. There were Yoga classes and Sushanta has arranged Baul Singers in the premises to sing for us. We had a great party and campfire. The service and personal care will be remembered. Awesome room, fantastic service, value for money. Great for family.
