An average budget hotel - family might not enjoy

It’s a budget hotel. I would rather not prefer to call it an average hotel to stay. Pros: 1. a descent place to stay at the price below 2k 2. Food preparation was very nice and felt homely 3. Placed at a location which is very very quiet and natural. 4. Staff is good Coming to cons which weigh more than pros: 1. Rooms are just okay- cheaper color combinations on walls

Terrible booking experience

Was planning a trip last week and found this hotel on Booking.com. I liked the rooms and suggested this hotel to my brother for booking. 3 days later got to know that the owner declined the booking sighting "received no booking advance" as reason, however at the time of booking it was mentioned that the advance and bills are to be settled at the hotel itself. We offered to pay the booking advance via wire transfer but he still declined since he had already accepted a new booking before contacting us. Contrary to professional standards this is truly a non-ethical behavior. It turned out to be a terrible experience for my family as I had to cancel the trip as could not find a replacement on that short notice.

I was thinking to go on the holidays with my entire family from 24th-27th July. I tried to look for the options and found this property listed on bookings.com. I was going with my entire family so want to make sure that I plan everything well in advance. I booked 3 rooms with no advance payment as it was not needed if you are booking through the website. 3 days after I booked the hotel I got the call from the hotel stating that there are no rooms available in the hotel and I should cancel my booking. When I told them that they had the rooms available when I booked and why they are informing me after 3 days they mentioned that they haven't took any advance and hence don't have any obligation to give me rooms. When I asked them why they have listed their hotel on bookings.com when they don't want to accept the booking through the website they stated that they have incurred losses in past due the website policy and hence don't accept bookings unless they got the advance. I didn't had any issues with advance payment but at least they should have told me this before accepting any other booking. Is it my fault that they have listed their hotel on the website with no advance policy? I think they could be more professional and should have connected with me on day one before taking any other booking. Now I will not even surprise if they take the advance from you and cancel your booking because someone else is offering more money. Think at least 1000 times before booking this place. You really don't want to ruin your holidays due to these kind of terrible people.

This is a private property converted into hotel by the owner who is a gentleman and make you feel at home. A very comfortable stay and good food served hot from kitchen to the six chaired dining table just outside the kitchen. Beautiful and calm location good placed to relax.

This is essentially a house that's been converted to a guesthouse, and overlooks the valley with a phenomenal view! The rooms are spacious and the toilets are clean. All the rooms have attached balconies - except for one on the first floor (so avoid that one) The terrace is especially nice. On a clear day you get an awesome view of several peaks in the distance. The only complaint we had was regarding the food. Stay with the parathas on the menu. Anything else will disappoint. But the helpful and eager staff will more than make up for it. Will definitely be going back there again.
