Honest, kind staff. Clean and modern. Lots of little toiletries available. Free waters and snacks in room. Rooms were quiet despite location in heart of the hustle/bustle-we were room 1108. 1 king and 4 twin beds. Great restaurant suggestions. Forgot my passport and money in the safe-they found and returned immediately. Don’t hesitate. It’s a gem.

My husband and I booked the Junior Executive Suite for our honeymoon in Barcelona. The room was spectacular, but we quickly noticed that there were extremely loud noises coming from the old plumbing in the walls. The first night, we did not sleep very well because of the noise (happened every time someone flushed a toilet or showered). The next morning we went to the front desk to see if the problem was known and to see about possibly switching rooms. Alexis helped us and was extremely understanding and accommodating. He provided us with a different room (which was soooo quiet), a discount off of our stay, and sent fruit and champagne to our room for our honeymoon! Alexis was so nice and took care of us through the remainder of our stay. Bou assisted us with our baggage and was very friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel! The location is great, the facilities are beautiful and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Just don’t book the Junior Executive Suite if you cannot sleep through loud noises.

I would never suggest this hotel! The check in process was one of the few highlights along with the breakfast. The elevator worked intermittently! I ended up walking up four flights twice during our 3 day stay and my 82 year husband had to once. Room cleaning was very spotty. Maintenance needs attention there are several areas where wallpaper is separating, the desk had been repaired and the air conditioning seemed to not be working. When this was brought to the managers attention via email, I did receive a prompt response with numerous apologies for the inconveniences, but no response to my request for compensation. When this was brought to his attention, I received an offer of a discount for a future stay! How many of you would believe that is a reasonable and fair offer? I certainly do not!

Bruno and Essa were so friendly and gave us the best experience at a restaurant in Barcelona. The toffee espresso Martini was the best I’ve ever had. All my white girls out there, please come give it a try. They’d be happy to see ya! Come try it out, you won’t regret it!

We had a fantastic time in the hotel. The location is very convenient. You can walk to many sights and have a Metro station in 1 min distance. The personell was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. An issue with our room was solved instanteaneously and professionally. The breakfast selection is quite good. The organisation during the week was better than at the weekends but this is just a minor remark. You absolutely have to love the cute courtyard . They serve the best Sangria!!!
