Paramount camp nubra is located in nubra valley ( Hunder ). Walking distance from sand dunes & markets. Rooms are clean, foods are delicious, location is great and staff was friendly & cooperative. Rooms with attached bathroom, restaurant also available, Internet facilities, hot & cold water running, good parking space. Must visit when you travel to Nubra.

It was a comforting place. If you are looking for the affordable and best stay no doubts just go for this. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All the arrangements including food was just perfect . Thank you for a good service .

I and my family booked 2 rooms in this camp, paid Rs.5,500/- and we got a confirmation mail. Soon after, the owner of this camp Mr. Nikhil called us and said that Paramount Camp was sold out, and he will get us a stay at his nearby camp, Nubra Orchard for the same amount and pass on the amount received from us to Nubra Orchard Camp. He told us that he will take care of our stay and we should trust him. Since we were in acute need of rooms due to our planned journey/bookings, we accepted their offer. When we reached Nubra Valley, we were allotted 2 rooms of extremely lower quality with no services in the nearby Orchard Camp which were being sold at Rs. 2300/- per room by the hotel (tele-recorded). Mr. Nikhil also charged us 4400/- over and above 5500/- for another night's stay totalling to Rs. 9900/- for Nubra Orchard Camp where we hadn't booked in the first place. The crux of the matter is - these people take your booking, charge you payment, and then inform you that the camp is sold out, and then sell their camps on higher amount. They then allot you camps in nearby areas, and charge you cash for the same. You don't get an invoice, or booking confirmation for the nearby camp, and you pay excess knowing that the camp is not worth the money. We asked a lot of people staying there, even our taxi driver and he informed us that Paramount Camp has been scamming people in the pretext of confirmed bookings. We would not recommend Paramount Camp to anybody travelling to Nubra Valley unless confirmed booking. Ensure you call other camps and then book, rather than this hell of a place.

Stayed at this Camp during last week of August. The camp is properly maintained with excellent food and other services. Captain Chander Shekhar is gem of a person who is very humble and helpful and make sure you are comfortable in camp. This camp is near to Sand Dunes. I highly recommend this camp for your stay in Nubra Valley.
