This property was almost perfect for our needs. The location was spot on, the comfort was undeniable and the cleanliness was top tier. My only comment to improve the apartment would be to install a small grab rail to assist in getting out of the bath/shower. That aside, we will be back.

Stayed for two nights recently for a business trip. Great access to the botanic gardens for those that like to go for a walk/jog. Well appointed rooms which are standard for Oaks. Check in at reception was professional and efficient. Negatives are some noise from the parking garage next door at all hours and possibly the smallest hotel gym I’ve ever seen.

Great customer service, great location. Staff allowed early check in, which helped us a lot because we were carrying 7 suitcase, and a 2 year toddler

We stayed at the Oaks on Margaret for 1 night and was pretty happy with the room expensive for one night but we upgraded. We were asked for a review which we did until two days after our review we received a cleaning charge of $95 - we left the apartment spotless I cleaned it myself and considering we only slept in the room we were at a festival all afternoon and night! - they sent a photo of a small mark on the carpet which they said they had to professionally clean - I'm not even aware if the mark was on the carpet but at the rate I paid plus parking I'm disgusted at the extra charge - be very careful and check your apartment and take photos I wish I had!

Sadly this was an appalling stay. In-spite of being on the 16th floor my view was of apartments as from my room there was 3 buildings in close proximity. Add to that wifi that either didn’t work or worked at 3mbps, speed checked. I think it’s reasonable to expect an espresso machine, not supplied, Netflix etc not available, screening to tv not available. Fan in bathroom didn’t work. And the noise from machinery fans, perhaps aircond was 40 decibels, yes I checked it. Noise from street is also a problem and getting to sleep and staying asleep a nightmare. Staff, most where friendly and apologetic by apologies don’t fix these ongoing issues. I will do my research next time and stay out of the cbd.
