Room was not available when we arrived (don’t bother choosing room in advance as this means they can’t just give you an available room), the room itself was nice, but had a mouldy bathroom. Evacuated twice with false fire alarms, exit routes poorly marked (lots of anonymous grey doors to navigate), staff didn’t bother to evacuate or tell us not to. Getting back to our room was even more difficult as lifts out of order and staff thoroughly unconcerned with helping anyone (including older customers with suitcases) even by directing properly to stairs. Very poor customer service for a hotel charging what this one does. Won’t be returning and will put me off choosing NH hotels in future.

We enjoyed our stay for two nights very much. Our room was larger than some European hotels with a nice view of a quiet courtyard. Breakfast buffet extensive and good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy walk to good restaurants, shops, museums and canals.

This hotel was assigned to us from another hotel closer to the city center a week before we were due to arrive - we were disappointed but this hotel was perfect! We checked in and were given a big room w/ a city view. Also, if you decide you don't want maid service (I don't use it as I think it is a waste of time and resources) - you get 2 free tokens for a drink at the bar. :) for each day :). Breakfast was excellent and staff helped us navigate the transit system, gave us a map to find our way around the city and just nice! Only complaint = light in bathroom is dim and there's not outlet so had to try and curl hair by using TV screen as a mirror :P

Room was clean and comfortable. It was easy to catch a tram or walk to where I needed to go. Only real problem I had, was when I checked in I was given a small room on the first floor, I was first told there is nothing available, but when I pushed about that I had made a reservation in December with an upper floor request, another room was available. Hmmmm. The bar was incredibly understaffed.
