We arrived late after a long day travelling, and arrangements had been made for that. A lovely and well decorated room with a very comfortable bed was needed, and very welcome! In the light of day, and rested we saw what was a very smart but welcoming guesthouse, purpose built so had more of a boutique hotel feel. A breakfast that kept us fuelled until evening was delicious, with good coffee and juice. After a day around town sightseeing, we hadn’t realised ‘Urban High Tea’ was a thing, or offered here. A couple of glasses of wine and an informative chat with the charming owners and other guests made for a lovely ‘tea’. Situated in Midtown, we found shops close by. There were restaurants locally, but we ended up using quick and inexpensive Ubers to get to other locations to eat. Communal ares are really nicely furnished and nice to use, and there is a conference room we noted a business traveller working in. Must recommend it whether you are a leisure traveller like us, or I’d be happy here on business. Thank you.

My stay at La Maison was perfect! The breakfast was beyond amazing -freshly cooked and served. The hospitality received from the staff was A+. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were the best I've ever had away from home. I'm already planning a return trip to Houston and LA Maison is where I'll always stay. Hands down better than an ordinary hotel.

The amenities were excellent from the bed and pillows to the robes and towels to all the small thoughtful things that must people would not expect them to have for you. La Maison is the perfect stop to be able to walk to some great restaurants, and bars so you can get out and enjoy the many things that Houston Midtown has to offer. The food from Chef Hopkins for breakfast was outstanding and the Urban High Tea with the snacks and wine are a welcome surprised. Being able to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the views and weather was special. The owners have thought of everything for their guest it was so very appreciated by my wife and I. We will be back the next time we want a nice staycation in our city and we will be sharing this location with as many people as we can find. Thank you Ms. Owens, Ms. Boykins, and Chef Hopkins.

We'd an absolutely wonderful 4 night sdtay at La Maison. Quiet, yet central location. Very comfortable and well-appointed bedroom; inviting, gracious common spaces on first floor. Very warm hosts who provided excellent advice on sights and eateries. Fabulous breakfasts. La Maison attracts friendly and interesting clients who're fun to get to connect with over breakfast. A total class act.

Beautiful Room/wonderful host and fantastic food!! Great location to restaurants and bars and the tram system. If we are ever back in Houston, this will be our go to place!! Go and stay, you won’t be disappointed
