La Casa Hanoi Hotel was one of the hotels we stayed in Hanoi. A nice hotel, with welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Our room was lovely and clean with all essentials provided. Breakfast was varied and enough to satisfy guests tastes. We would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here twice during the trip within a space of 3 days. During the second checkin we were offered an upgrade to Junior Suite. The regular rooms are not so spacious but the suite was extra large in size. The view from the room was excellent. The service is great and the buffet spread had an extensive array of choice. The Hotel offered excellent service to keep our luggage when we went to Ha Long Bay for a day.

US Travelers: this isn't 4 stars like the Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton, etc. This hotel is more like a Days Inn/Holiday Inn Express/La Quinta. Make no mistake, there ARE true 4 star hotels in Hanoi, like the Hilton, JW Marirott, Sheraton, etc., but this isn't it. Just setting the expectations given the high star rating for this hotel. I really wanted to like this place, but it's pretty warn and in need of an update. At least my room on the 10th floor. The hotel itself is really noisy - particularly if they have events going on in their meeting rooms. You can hear the music etc. all over the hotel. If your room doesn't have a shower - has a tub with a shower wand instead - it is perilous getting in an out of the tub. I say this so others who may be 50+ travelers are forewarned. Certainly an adventure every morning. If you have a room with a shower (like my colleague) there is a glorious window wall so while you are on the toilet you can look out over your room and, if the window is open, out over Hanoi. The breakfast is okay. The variety is interesting. Some western (omelets, egg, bacon, pork sausage) some Vietnamese (pho, noodles, pork) and a surprising amount of Indian cuisine. There's no real hotel bar. You can get beverages in the very tiny rooftop restaurant. Ah, speaking of tiny, the rooftop pool. When we were there it was looking kinda rough. Maybe it wasn't a good week for the pool. If you need a place to rest your head and get actual sleep, I'd pass here. It's just too noisy between the events, the hotel staff, the slamming doors of other guest rooms, and the thin walls between rooms. But, if you just need shelter from when you are done hanging out at Beer Corner or in the Old Quarter, then this will likely do fine.

Nice hotel Nice quiet location. Friendly helpful courteous staff ( except one receptionist) She is rude to everyone. Does not know her job of handling customers. Yawns on the customer,s face. She again talked very rudely to us for no reason. All we asked for our bill to check out. We’re retired hoteliers. We know the pressures of such jobs. Such staff are a bad influence to others.

Myself and my other travel companions were welcomed by the extremely helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them, calling taxis, advice on what was nearby etc. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast delicious with plenty of choice. I wouid come again.
