This is a small Family run Hotel with 4 Rooms and 1 Cottage. we had booked the cottage , which was spacious and had beautiful views of the valley. the cottage had a sit out area also. there is a game room, a swing in a corner and also arrangements for campfire and music. we were there for 3 nights and just loved the place because of the peace and quiet.

The property had a great view and was very quiet and pleasant. We woke up to sounds of birds in the morning, which was very soothing. The family running the hotel is very helpful. They were quite helpful and nice people. We were two girls and felt very safe at the property. They have a lovely garden with a swing and a bonfire so you can spend a nice evening outside with friends/family. The food served was very yummy and light.

As the title indicates, it is developed under Village tourism & Home stay initiative. It's the family who manages the property, guests and services. Everything about this place was simply mind blowing. Location: It is surrounded by scenic beauty, lush greenery.Located about 4 kms from Pelling, around 20mins drive from Pelling's main market. It's far from town's hustle-bustle. Rooms: It is a single story building with 4 guest rooms and a common area on the first floor. A dining area on the ground floor. They also have a delux cottage which is next to the building. Rooms were specious with a balcony. A bed with neat & clean sheets, pillows and blanket. a TV with many channels, A table and chairs, small storage, a mirror, charging points, night lamps and a Geyser. Amenities: A garden at the entrance with picnic tables. A cute , little romantic setup at the corner (Dinner date setup). Separate hut or a cottage for Pool and carom board.Badminton net and rackets. Bonfire setup. Karaoke, A beautiful bench and a swing. Food: Simple but yet tasty. They confirmed our booking in the morning of our arrival, we were supposed to reach there by 4pm but were late. They called us around 6pm and asked for the dinner order, we placed it from the items available and we were served with hot-pipping food once we arrived ; which was really needed. They serve both veg & non-veg food. Quality and quantity both were good enough. Prices are really moderate. Service: All the family members were always smiling and ready to serve you. They readily provided hot water for bathing in the morning when there was no electricity. Overall Experience: Had I knew about such calm and beautiful place, would have spent more time there. We had booked the place for two nights. It was my first experience at home stay and I am happy and proud of my decision. The only suggestion from my side is that, they should accommodate car drivers as well which saves lot of time. Thank you Khi Gha Thang for making our holiday memorable :) .

Have no words to express how Have no words to express how awesome Khi Gha Thang made our stay at Pelling. We were a family of 10 people from Kerala and completely new to Sikkim. Khi Gha Thang made us feel totally at home. This home stay is located 5km from Pelling town in a very calm and serene ambience, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Rooms are spacious enough, each with a balcony offering breath taking view of Sikkim. On one clear morning, we even got to see the distant snow capped mountains. The four rooms which we had booked opened to a cosy common area where we could chat, play and have fun. To a great extent, its this common area which gave us that homely feel. Our hosts were extremely cordial with us, showering us with hospitality. On the lighter side, they even joined us in our outdoor games and we had a wonderful time together. If it was not for them, we would have thought bad about Sikkimese people - for we were cheated by our travel agency and got very poor service from our next place of stay at Ganktok (@ Tashi Tage). What touched us was - on one morning, when there was no power in entire Sikkim they boiled water outside their house and carried it all the way upstairs to our rooms for all 10 of us. They could have easily escaped with a "no power in entire Sikkim" excuse. But they chose to make us feel comfortable. The food was extremely good (by taste and quality) and really cheap. Frankly speaking, our stay at Khi Gha Thang helped us a lot in maintaining our budget. Don't think twice. Just go for it. It's totally worth every penny you spend. Probably it's quite a deal at this price.
