Very conveniently located, close proximity to public transport and shopping areas and items of historical interest. Bar food is quite nice with excellent service. Breakfast buffet is to op class again with great choices . Friendly efficient check in staff. This is ideal location for short breaks

A good base for a city break

On the whole a good place to use as a base for our city break. It's about 2 km out of the centre, but only a couple of minutes walk from the Westbahnhof station, has a tram stop almost outside, and the hop on hop off bus stops right outside. We got a week's travel ticket which covered trains, trams and underground (not hop on hop off) and in our 4 days there, got more than our money's worth. The transport system is very efficient. The room was clean and tidy. The shower was great: hot and really powerful. The bed was comfier than it looked. My only complaint was the duvet. When it was laid flat on the bed it didn't reach the edges of the mattress, so when 2 people were under it, it was hopeless. I couldn't decide if it was a ridiculously small double or a large single. As it was, the weather was quite warm when we were there so we managed by me sleeping in my dressing gown. I cannot comment on anything else as we did not eat there or use the bar. I can recommend the Opera Dei Vini a small independent Italian restaurant almost opposite the back of the hotel. The food was delicious.

The hotel was clean, shower pressure was good and staff were helpful. If you have a room that looks out onto main road, you will need ear plugs, extremely noisy at night with sirens and traffic. Hotel bar is expensive, but there are plenty of more reasonable priced places nearby. Sloth cafe up the road does great coffee and breakfast options. There was a light on the air con unit in the hotel room which was irritating to sleep with - we covered it over with plasters. Good location, great for a long weekend away.

Brilliant location for sightseeing, especially as though there is a big bus stop right outside the door. Plus there is a huge mile long shopping street just around the corner, with all known high street shops and many other shops there. There are also many restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The train station is around a 3 minute walk as is the underground but we didn't use either as we did the big bus (highly recommended) The staff were polite and helpful. The main area of the hotel is modern and comfortable. The room (324) was small and a little dated, especially the bathroom but as this was just a place to sleep, it was adequate. The breakfast area is a little cramped but the food was plentiful, with a great choice. There is a selection of cold meats and cheeses, cereals, hot food, pasties, fruit and a pancake maker. The restaurant food was lovely, and arrived freshly cooked and hot. The floors to the rooms in the hotel do need recarpeting as they are full of stains but within the room, the carpet was clean. In all if it's not luxury but a clean hotel with good food and good location you are looking for, this hotel is a great one

We had a program mainly to explore Vienna for 4 days. The hotel is from a chain that is not exactly aimed at the type of tourists like us. We didn't expect much given that we used a hotel of this type. Positive things: -excellent location -excellent breakfast -The room is not very small, it is enough. The bathroom is a bit small, but that is not the most important thing. -There are two metro stations and a tram stop nearby. Communication place. -Nearby is a street with everything you need. -There are probably more positive things. Negative things. Not many, but still: -Rooms facing the busy boulevard are noisy. -Our rooms were not ready for check-in time. Being busy can't be an excuse. -Cleaning the rooms can't just be emptying the trash. -The carpet is beyond criticism. I would visit the hotel again if I don't find something better.
