I went to this hotel on 26.03.22 . Booked the hotel online.Person standing in the reception asked to me to leave the hotel and told that if I want to stay here I have to take permission from police as I might have come to suicide here. But unmarried couples and prostitutes are allowed in this hotels here. This is the rule in Digha where sole travellers are treated like untouchables or terrorists. I have been to so many places in India as sole traveller but never faced such insult.

I went to Digha, Sea costal area of West Bengal, India. It is a cosy place and I stayed along with other family members at Hotel Tulip Digha for two days. It was a four bed AC room. The room was very good with two washroom/Latrine and enough space. I got the room 3750/- from GOibibo. The only thing I did not like was the food quality.. We ate outside. But the manager was very cordial and the location is awesome just behind the sea area at old Digha. Go definitely I will come back to stay there again.

Geographically this hotel is very near to Old Digha Beach, but parallel to the main road, so little quite. The service and the behavior of the staffs is good and earnest. The main advantage is the food. The quality is good and the taste is like homemade food. From breakfast to dinner all the menus are good. We stayed 2 nights in the first week of December 2018.

We stayed in a ac double bed room on 24/07/18 for 1 night. Price- 1400/- per day Room was big enough for 2+1 people, and well furnished with furniture, a big led tv, and a split AC is attached in the room, our room at 4 th floor, and we found lift is fully functional all the time we approached. Room cleanliness was good but not excellent as the doormat provided was in very poor quality Tv ,ac , fan and other electrical equipment was all running in a good condition. Bathroom cleanliness could be better, the size of bathroom was so small , the shower was not working, the flash of comot was not working properly. the tapwater many times leaked to room making doormat wet all the time,But the main thing is The availability of water in bathroom was very good. Now comes the balcony, the balcony was sea facing only as our room at 4th floor and sea can seen in distance , but the main problem is the balcony are not totally having railing, as we have a small kid , it is very dangerous. The other problem is the balcony is so small, and wety all the time as the outdoor unit of ac is fitted in that territory also. If you have a adjustable mind to adjust this things then you can stayed in this hotel as the maneger and the staffs are very friendly.
