I stayed here 2 weeks. It is a really great value for the money. The price offered at the hotel is about 30 percent higher than Booking. The breakfast is solid: great brioche. The staff is vvvv friendly. Great people. English spoken but not perfectly: adequate. I had dinner a few times and it was solid. The neighborhood is fantastic. Several nice piazzas just a few blocks away. Great restaurants as well: tremendous value. Try Bucatino and Perilli.

When cheap could be a good choice

The hotel's location is convenient, close to Piramide metro station. The building is nice with a useful parking. The personnel is kind and the room was clean Beyond that, the furniture is unfortunately quite old and the room was very small for 2 persons, so was the bathroom. Breakfast was ok considering the level of the hotel. Overall, this could be again my cheap choice to Rome.

Fab base for Rome trip

What a fabulous hotel this is as a base for a holiday in Rome. Ideally located in a quieter area it’s just a 5 minute walk to the Piramide Metro with lots of good restaurants nearby. The facilities are excellent- it has a private car park, a lovely garden terrace, a small bar and a quaint restaurant. And the prices of the drinks was very reasonable. Our rooms were of sufficient size, with a large very comfortable bed. Even though we were “roadside” and I am a light sleeper the double glazing did its job and kept the noise out. And the aircon did its job on keeping the room cool Although the “bathroom” was small it had everything needed (shower, toilet, bidet) - the water pressure was a bit variable at peak times though. The buffet breakfast included in the booking was excellent and even had a wide range of gluten free products available. Nico the waiter was very friendly and worked hard to ensure we had everything we wanted. The only slight negative is that the facilities are a little dated, but this did not detract from enjoying our stay. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Rome.

The location is perfect - easy access by public transport to the historic centre of the city, and within 10 minutes walk you have the Testaccio district - full of small restaurants with excellent food at reasonable Italian prices - not inflated for tourists as in some other areas. The hotel is sparkling clean, has lovely staff, is quiet, and the cost of a stay is very reasonable. Air con is quiet and efficient, not lethal, the wi-fi excellent. The rooms could sometimes do with a bit of renovation, and if you're overweight the shower might be a squeeze. My only real problem was with the venerable old hair dryer - it's hopeless. But then in Rome in July you can dry your hair more quickly by walking down the road or by sittiing out in the beautiful garden. Nothing beats having a glass of wine on the terrace of the Santa Prisca as the sun goes down!

Very dated but perfectly adequate. If you are looking for luxury, this isn’t for you. We were very comfortable in our double room. There were folding beds provided for the children and a very firm queen sized bed. All the linens were impeccably clean. Lots of large towels provided. Very small shower/bath, but again, perfectly adequate. The room decor is as if your old rich Italian grandfather decorated in 1940 and hasn’t updated it since. About a 15-20 minute walk to the Circus Maximus. All other sites further. Surrounding area is not particularly touristy, which is nice. Plenty of nearby restaurants, cafés, bars, gelaterias etc. Small, expensive grocery store right across the street but if you walk 8-10 minutes you can find a couple that are more affordable. Bus stop right out front and you can easily bus to any of the major sites within 15-30 minutes for €1.50 each way. Excellent breakfast included. We were particularly pleased with the gluten-free options. Our celiac child enjoyed gluten free bread and hazelnut spread with fruit, bacon and yogurt every morning. Affordable laundry service available across the street. All of the staff at the hotel are pleasant and helpful. My only major complaint- no fridges in the rooms. A mini-fridge would have greatly heightened our enjoyment of the hotel.
