Hotel Safari has all the basic elements for a good above-budget hotel. The rooms are pretty spacious, the appearance smartish, and it has a good restaurant. But there is something lacking - perhaps an attention to detail, when you have to call the desk repeatedly for basics such as towels, and drinking water. Why this would not automatically occur to the hotel management is a mystery! Don't all guests require these? The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant and did a quick check in with little fuss. The restaurant revealed itself to be vegetarian. This was a bit of a blow especially when we were looking forward to some delicious Rajasthan mutton ! But the vegetarian food was well cooked and tasty. We found our Lal Mutton elsewhere. It's not a hotel to linger in ... so go for its functionality, and enjoy your stay in Jaipur!
