Stayed 3 nights. Hotel within walking distance to foro italico and vatican. Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Despite our room facing the street, it was quiet, blackout curtains helped as well. As other reviews have suggested, this is not a 4 star hotel, 3 stars on a good day at best. The room we had was dark, paper cups and plastic mugs in your room, chipped paint on the walls. Continental breakfast is an extra €15 per person per day. It's not worth it at all. Recommend skip the breakfast and walk to one of the many cafes along the way. The worst coffee and food, quality was really poor,again not 4 star and not what you would expect in Rome at all. Better coffee and pastries at a much better price a short walk away. Would we go back or recommend....no.

from the minute we arrived to a pretty long wait at reception with just one member of staff on attendance to the lifts call button which is sensitive to the pokey dark room which has a/c which didnt work well so we had to sleep with doors open as it was so hot to the shower which was mouldy and old sink The room was very cramp and dark and poorly lit so we couldnt wait to go home and have a good nights sleep The actual room looks nothing like that advertised either breakfast was ok and breakfast staff good

Very nice hotel in good location. Thirty minute walk from main sites, close to metro too but quiet. Very helpful staff.. decent breakfast. Good value for the time of year. Many good small restaurants nearby. Would be good if there was a way to open the main door with the key card rather than ringing the bell but not a major inconvenience

Really liked this hotel. The staff went over and above to help you. We desperately wanted to watch some rugby. Thank you to the lady working the 23 Sept who suggested a pub (she was right) and marked out the best way to get there. Also tried to find on the TV another night. Google location with 3 min walk to metro. Vatican is next stop and takes you into central rome or easy chane for colloseum. We walked vatican 30 mins as well and into central rome, about 45 mins to centre. The sights are spread out so I learnt where ever you stay you will have to travel. Metro runs until 1 at weekend and you can tap on with a card. Hotel very clean, comfy bed felt very safe, great shower, tea and coffee in room. Lovely windows that opened. Only downside is floor space in bathroom a bit small and extra pillows would be good. We didn't try bar or breakfast as we were dashing off forvthe sights all the time. . Great stay and thank you to all lovely staff. Would recommend and come back

Our room was very clean and updated with modern finishes. A little off the beaten path but was a nice change from the more touristy areas. It is walking distance to everything touristy (if you're willing to walk 45 mins) but is also close to many public transit options. Around the corner from several local restaurants.
