Far from Mumbai but has very beautiful location with sea across.A mid range hotel serves tasty food with reasonable price.Renovated few years back and has all basic aminities.A good holiday destination for week end.

The plus point of this hotel is definately its location. Just a few meters from a clean and secluded beach. Food was good and so was the staff's behaviour. Will recommend this place to everyone. Newly furnished and renovated rooms have a feel of a modern hotel

Only plus point about this hotel is the location. Food not tasty. Room rate n food overly priced. They are charging more than Rs. 4000/- per day for room but do not provide drinking water at all. Every bottle is charged. Owner and the staff are quiet rigid. Not ready to cooperate even in small things.

Hotel Kinara has grown over the years from a small 8 room family run resort, where personal attention was a trade-mark, without air-conditioners or TV, without internet, no newspapers so a place to chill out cut off from the hustle and bustle of the city, to a multistory concrete biggish place with wifi, modern comforts etc. The new rooms are typical of any modern hotel with internet, satellite TV, A/C etc. Still, it has a lovely location being across the narrow road from the beach. The beach is the best part, sparkling white sands, large open space, without any crowds such that when one walks along the beach, it feels like one is the only being with the sand and the water. The sunsets are strikingly colourful and one can relax on the beach without disturbance from anyone. The staff is attentive and will request for clients preference of food and the cuisine preferred if informed in advance. The room tariff generally includes all meals. The breakfast will range from Maharashtrian breakfast items like poha, upma, batatawada, thalipheeth, sabudana khichdi as well as eggs and toast. Lunch and dinner will generally be fish of your choice or chicken with the usual accompaniments of chapati, rice salad etc. Of course, the fish depends on what is the available fresh catch from the fishing boats which dock nearby in Dapoli. All-together, a lovely place to go relax, enjoy nature and fresh fish without any intrusion from the hectic world. The hotel is situated at a village called KARDE, which is about 12 Km from Dapoli on the Mumbai - Goa Road.

Kinara has unique advantage of having a fantastic sea view from all the rooms. The beach is just across the property and almost as good as a private beach due to hotel's location. The food offered is delicious and both vegetarian and non vegetarian varieties have that special kokani taste. Some improvement on maintenance front is expected, but then who spends time inside rooms when you have such a good beach and food!
