Rooms are good But staff …… it’s pathetic. You have to ask for everything like towels , blankets, extra mattress … even if you have booked with instructions for extra mattresses . Workers don’t carry your luggage even your room was on second floor . Please carry your water bottles as they don’t provide you . They don’t have room heaters , please carry your own.

We stayed in this hotel for one night during our Kashmir visit. Rooms are very comfortable and support staff is very cooperative. But this hotel is quite far from Dal lake and other parks so it becomes difficult if we need to go back to hotel in the mid day.

The destinational of this hotel was quite good and the outer appearance of this hotel was beautiful. Behaviour of the hotel staffs including the manager and the receptionist was friendly. I was fully satisfied with our stay in this hotel.

As an Ex-Hotel General Manager I have to say that this hotel is one of the best hotels I ever had the pleasure of staying. The rate is a bargain for such a clean and well managed place. The food is great, the spa divine and if you ask, you can get a bed with a softer mattress on check-in...but I always choose the firmer beds. I have stayed at the Good View several times and it never disappointed me. English is not the strong suit of the staff but they make up for it with friendly efficient service. Great attention to details at this place amazes me every time I am here and I am sure that you too will enjoy you Good View stay. Bernard

I stayed in this hotel on a short business trip to Srinagar for 2 nights. One sentence that would describe this hotel in short is, its 'Home away from home'.
