An enjoyable and memorable stay. We really enjoyed our short break at Hotel Europe. The staff were welcoming, our room comfortable, and the breakfasts were very generous, setting us up for happy days exploring the city. The location is excellent for rail (Stadelhofen), tram (Bahnhof Stadelhofen), and ferry (Zürich Bellevue) travel, as well as being within walking distance from several attractions. It is not a cheap stay (but where is in Zurich?) and we also treated ourselves to a celebratory meal in one of the hotel's restaurants, Max + Otto, which was pricey but superb. No complaints at all.

Terrific hotel for the price. Wonderful staff — very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location. You can walk many places or take a tram which is very close. Rooms are charming and a decent size. it was great having a balcony even if the weather didn’t enable us to use it. Good shower. Breakfast buffet was fine.

Basically a very functional and centrally positioned hotel. It includes a good restaurant, and nice breakfast room. All light and quiet. Our room was ordinary, we missed a coffe machine especially. Very good bed! But the real premium is the personell, especially at the reception. They were the most helpful and assisting. Made our day!

This hotel was in a great location within walking distance of many of the locations my wife and I wanted to go: The Odeon, Kronenhalle, the Lake, and Fraumunster Church. The room was spacious and the bed was large by European standards. My wife and I enjoyed the interesting decor around the hotel including fun dog portraits and a nice chandelier in the room. We also really enjoyed the scent of the soap at the hotel. For as good as the hotel was, the manager Jan really stood out and we both really enjoyed multiple conversations with him. There is little doubt that we would stay here again if we were to ever pass through Zurich, which I hope we do.

Great little boutique hotel with all the finer details on point! Excellent location within walking distance to all the major sights. Very comfortable, clean rooms with cozy beds and luxurious bathroom amenities. If mobility is an issue be advised that our room had a rather large stair required to access the bathroom. Front desk staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
