Absolutely, the worst birthday experience! The customer service was extremely poor, the front receptionist lacked professionalism. He requested for a form of payment without stating if it was covering the entire stay or incident fee’s. I had to ask him for what exactly am I being charged and the amounted. These are things that should be mentioned upfront prior to requesting for a payment. However, I looked past this matter and check-in my room just to be disturbed by the condition of my room. As I do my normal routine first entering anywhere that I am lodging for several days, I personally sanitize the entire space. As I approach the bed, I notice the sheets had stains so I requested new sheets just to find out that the stains were also on the mattress. At that moment I requested a change of room. I went from the 5th floor (room 509) to the 11th floor (room 1109) just to experience the EXACT SAME ISSUE. Now, I was truly concern by the maintenance of this hotel. I remained calm and professional by calling housekeeper to rectify the matter. The head of house keeper personal came to the 2nd room (1109), apologized and gave me an excuse about “they’re expirementing beds, etc”. I was confused to what exactly that meant. He then requested for me to give him 30mins to find me a new room which took nearly 2hrs later with no updates in between. Now, I personally went down to the front desk to speak to the manager to find out the only thing that can be done is provide set of sheets to put over a dirty mattress. At that moment I felt as if I was being treated other than a human being. Even animals are treated much better. Now, why would anyone sleep on stained sheets, knowing not only was the sheets dirty but also the mattress itself was stained? I politely told her I absolutely can’t sleep on the bed, she then went by stating all rooms are booked but when I went on the hotel direct website, there was available rooms to book same day. I immediately went up to the room gathered my things booked another hotel and called and checked out the Laura hotel the same day because they failed to accommodate me as a customer. I’m uncertain if this was due to my race but I felt unwelcome from the entrance unlike many other hotels. I’ve been calling the hotel to speak to Victoria (no answer) in regards to a full refund due to this entire matter that occurred moments after checking in. This is totally unacceptable and no human being should ever have to experience this type of hospitality and treatment. Especially after spending your hard earning money.

Update: I reached out to the hotel about my missing package and my experience and never heard back. They also never responded to my review. I had the worst hotel stay I can remember. I came back to the hotel one night to get dinner before bed, google profile said the restaurant was open but it was not. It did not seem to open for dinner my entire stay. At breakfast my first morning, my coffee was not good and crazy hot. Like burn my mouth hot. My server never came back, I never got sugar or cream that would have helped. I pushed it away and it was obvious that I was not going to drink it. One server stopped by mid meal to see if I needed a drink, to which I asked for a diet soda. The soda never came. Finally after I finished my meal the soda arrived. And on the bill I was charged for both. The second morning was much better and I had good service. I had a package that I needed delivered to the hotel. I was never notified, and the the package delivered to my room. As I was leaving for the airport, I stopped by the front desk and there was nobody there. I waited 10 minutes and still nobody arrived. So I never received my package even though it was delivered to the hotel. The last night of my stay was horrendous. I again came back to the hotel hoping to get dinner and again the restaurant was closed. When I got to my room I scheduled a wake up call for the next morning to wake me up for my flight home. I never received the wake up call I scheduled, thank god my iPhone alarm went off. I was on the 15th floor, and somewhere near by on the 16th floor a couple was screaming all night long. It sounded like they were making porn. I am not exaggerating, they scream all night. For like 6 hours. Nobody answered at the front desk. So I got zero sleep. I was there 4 nights and did not get maid service once. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Steven L was awesome! He told me about all the accommodations as he checked me in and was very professional. Steven L even suggested some great lounges and restaurants for the weekend. His customer service skills are wonderful. The room was nice and the view was amazing. Great location.
