Ravangla is a beautiful place to visit. Stayed in Hilltop Resort, surrounded with only nature.. hospitality was excellent.. food was as per our choice and good too. In May, kanchanjanga was not visible for cloud.. recommended for March April.. wish, we could visit Ravangla Hilltop Resort again..

At the beginning I must confess that the 1/2 km pebble road from the main road to the resort is the most dreadful one I have ever experienced. But as soon as you reach the resort, you are bound to forget the worries. The wooden loghuts were perfectly matching with the surroundings. The food served was excellent. The special mention that I wish to highlight is the services offered by the owner, named Sayantan and his men. It is just unforgettable.

Hilltop Rabong Resort is a traveller's delight. If you are looking for a calm and quiet holidaying experience at Ravangla then this resort is the ideal. One can have a grand view of the majestic Kanchenzonga on a clear day. I stayed there for 5 days and felt right at home. The owner and the staff of the resort are always eager to help and always cheerful. The room I stayed was well decorated and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The toilet was clean and was fitted with a geyser to provide 24 hours hot water. The food here is delicious and is available at reasonable rates. The place has a few nature trails that can be explored to rejuvenate oneself. The place is also a bird watcher's paradise.

This resort is situated in a secluded location away from the crowd in the midst of vegetation with an excellent, unobstructed view of Mt. Kanchenjunda. The approach road to this place i.e. approx last 2 kms, is pretty bad as this is unmetalled and mostly muddy having stone laid patches. So, it is a bit of an adventure reaching here. The rooms are average with decent facilities. However, the rates are on the higher side,most probably due to the location of this property. Do negotiate the same before booking, there is a scope of discount depending on availability as well as the number of rooms booked. The food is good and homely but it needs to be ordered in advance as they are arranged based on the orders. There is ample parking space in the property as well as a garden and a view point.. There is a provision for arrangement of a bonfire in the garden on additional payment. Overall, it was a nice stay.
