Getting a receipt should not be that difficult after I give you money!!

When i checked in around7 p.m., I was told my credit card was already charged at 1201 a.m. hummmm... I asked for my receipt, showing my room rate and taxes listed out. Front Desk associate couldn't print it then. I was assured I could get in atc3 a.m. when I was leaving because they do their audit at 12 midnight (because of their credit card charging procedure ). Needless to say. Couldn't get my receipt at 3 a.m. Mr Norman didn't do the job at 12 midnight. I have called the hotel twice so far, asking for Terry Traylor (general manager ). He always happens to have "just left the property ", according to Monica. Hey Terry, if you read this, just mail me my receipt. I have no way to print anything you might email, so USPS please. Monica said she gave to my info on Monday morning when you showed up for work. Maybe you could call.

Lovely Hotel

It was my first time staying at this hotel and it will not be the last. Fidelia the receptionist was so nice and helpful during checkin . She was very apologetic as my room was not quite ready as the hotel was fully booked the night before. The room was clean and tidy with complimentary coffee. Two free bottles of water was also nice to get. The hotel offers free bus shuttle to the airport. I’ve seen other reviews about people complaining about being in the flight path from the International airport. There is a simple solution to that, book downtown Houston. Thanks again Fidelia for a lovely checkin.

Too many Issues--Try Another Hotel!

As a Gold Level Hilton member, I am familiar with the properties in the Hilton portfolio. The Hampton Inn hotels can range from quite nice to old and dated. Unfortunately, this property falls toward the latter end of the spectrum. Overpriced for a depressing and below average property. The room was dark--like a tomb. Must be trying to save money on electricity. Carpet and flooring is gray--to hide the dirt. The bed was uncomfortable and the noise from the jets at night was terrible. This property must be located directly below the flight path of the biggest planes that land at IAH--TERRIBLE NOISE! Breakfast was nothing special--staff just going through the motions with low-end food choices. And to top it all off, the hotel charges elite level guests for high-speed internet. Their website gives guests two choices--but unlike Marriott and other properties, elite guests will have to pay the Hampton Inn five dollars for the "fast" internet. When asked about it upon departure, the clerk was surly and defensive. Obviously, it's a sore subject with them. In sum, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Won't ever stay at this property again.

My husband and I stayed one night here after a late flight, before travelling to Galveston for a cruise. This hotel is great- the shuttle picked us up and the check in process was easy. Room was large, comfortable and had a great TV and shower. The complimentary breakfast is excellent and starts at 6am. Shuttles start 4am. There is a really well equipped gym and also a little pool! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

The building itself is nice and the location near the airport is convenient. What wasn’t convenient was the lack of response from the hotel when calling from the airport for a shuttle pick up. It took 15 minutes for the hotel to answer their phone. Then another 20 minutes for a shuttle to arrive. Another 20 minutes to the hotel as we went to different terminals. The staff was cheerful, but not answering the phone when you are an airport hotel with shuttle was a severe break in expected service.
