The hotel is great, but reviews of the location being great is not what I can see. There is an abandoned shop being used as a squat 1 min from the hotel, on the route between hotel and the beach and metro, people sat outside on the pavement drinking/smoking etc, it made us feel very uncomfortable walking past and not what is expected in a 'nice location'

I booked this hotel through a package deal and wasn't expecting the hotel to be so beautiful and well positioned to the beach. It is only a 30 minute walk to the main centre of Barcelona. The breakfast buffet was amazing, so much choice! Thankyou to all the staff!

Honestly one of the best hotels I've been too, outside looks a bit random but the hotel looks really nice, the rooms..... great quality but what made it for us was.... the staff!! All of them amazing to the day time receptionist the two tall chaps (sorry i forgot their names because i was so tired when i saw them) the restaurant manager who told us a story behind the wines and the evening bar staff bianca was a absoltue legend who ensured the drinks didn't stop and let's not forget Victor the security guard who was just a top man, would come here again for 3 times the price!! Very nice hotel friendly staff always pleasant, good location for most popular attractions, nice spacious rooms breakfast very good with lots of choices, there is building work going on next door but we didn’t hear anything would recommend this hotel no problem.

Just spent 3 nights here over the weekend, and we were very happy with this hotel. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, the food and service in the restaurant was very good. Located outside of the city centre in a quiet residential neighbourhood but still within walking distance to the beach, zoo, Sagrada Familia cathedral (20 mins), Marina and gothic quarter/la Ramblas would be a good 30 mins walk. Be careful of the hidden service charges in the restaurants in La Ramblas, 15% on top because it’s “La Ramblas” & another 20% service charge, which made what we had very expensive. Rooftop pool is very nice in the morning, but got quite busy in the afternoon with all sunbeds in use. Room was clean and spacious with huge king size bed, very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone not wanting to be right in the city centre but can easily access by walking, cab or metro.
