Having stayed at the Staybridge Suites on our way to Alaska, we decided to stop for a day again before returning to New York. This time they moved us to the EVEN hotel which is adjoining. The General Manager met us on arrival and was most helpful in making us comfortable even though we were actually looking to stay at Staybridge. The room was very clean and well maintained. Being a hotelier myself I normally am a little over critical but could not find anything amiss. Once again what impressed me was the friendliness of the staff. Would love to stay here again when in Seattle next.

Excellent staff, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. Dog friendly and having workout gear in the room was a great plus. The restaurant and bar in the lobby were nice and food was good. Great location, right off the 5, and parking is available. If you have a very large vehicle be aware the max height is just over 6ft. Special shout out to Henry for taking care of us 😊

EXTREMELY UPSET- SCAM ALERT I stayed in Even Hotel Seattle for a business trip for 4 nights on Oct 4th 2023. I booked my trip through American Express Travel and paid full in advance. Upon check-in, I was asked by the front desk to submit a credit card and enter the PIN code, and was told it was for incidentals only. After the stay, I asked the front desk to print out a final statement to make sure that there were no incidental charges. Front desk personal told me there were NO incidental charges and the statement would be sent by email in a few hours. But when I get back home I see that there is a charge from Even Hotel for $937.66 USD. And NO EMAIL of any statement of any kind from Even Hotel. I called Amex to dispute the charge, but Amex is telling that it is difficult to dispute the charge because I entered the PIN code initially. It is 2 months after the SCAM, and I am still in dispute with this charge. BEWARE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS. One other thing I noticed when I was waiting to check out is that there was one person working at front desk, who appeared very annoyed by a phone call and I witnessed him hang up the phone on the customer he was talking to.

This was my first time in Seattle. I had no idea where to book . I came in 2 days early for a cruise. I checked in late at night. Check in was very friendly. Within 10 minutes I received a text asking if I was happy with my room. My room was very nice and clean . The bed was extremely comfortable. A great bathroom. I added the breakfast package . I recommend this . It was probably one of the best breakfast menus I have seen . They have a beautiful outdoor patio with fireplaces. A convenient walk to Pikes Peak Market and downtown area. Shuttle service was $10 for the cruise ships . If back in Seattle I would stay here again , a very safe area . Kristin in the bar was excellent to the bar as it was busy . Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

So I am still in disbelief that a hotel brand went live with a pseudo “modern” vibe and a 1988 model for TV experience. But hey if you just like to take ten showers a day there are plenty of towels and decent shower gels and a hand held shower. Personally, I would attempt to book elsewhere, just on the TV experience being so not up to par. But it was a decent price and the right location. I was at first taken with idea I’d this brand out if loyalty to IHG and because there was an exercise bicycle in the photo. Then I found out it wouldn’t necessarily be in the room so I changed my room type. Also the counters in the bathroom should be flush to the wall - should they build more of these. And I think offering the ability to purchase the staybridge suites buffet may be a better idea - though they’d have to figure out how to allow one time travel to the basement where they say the suites are - so this may not be feasible. Still I think the seduction of photos with exercise bicycles in the room that aren’t really necessarily in the room is a tease and the un-smart TV experience is a faux pas that cannot be forgiven until it is ameliorated. I hope this review helps fellow travelers and IHG in better design moving forward. The competition is enormous in this sector. Seriously, no smart TV? It isn’t a even their login. You have to use their account. Are they just to cheap to pay the streaming fees???? How does it compare to people having to stream from their personal devices. There are plenty of outlets. I added a star for that. And it’s super clean.
