I and my friends wished to spend more than one night at this hotel, "the best hotel in Malappuram" as we were told by our local guide. We could not extend our stay there and tried to find another hotel in the area (though it was not easy to find a better one). The hotel was really disappointing and below standard. We arrived at the hotel early morning in last April; the front office was dark, locked, and no one there so that our local guide had to knock the door very hard to awaken the receptionist man who was in fact sleeping in a couch in the front office; it took us around thirty minutes to get and enter rooms. The rooms looked gloomy; there was no welcome tea and coffee; only one towel available for double-bed rooms; the bathroom was not clean and smelled bad so that my friend did not want to take a shower. It had often blackouts which one of them happened when I was having shower. It did not provide us with breakfast. The front yard was dirty with scattered rubbish. The good thing about this hotel was a free wifi.
